Naproxen’s many uses and benefits relieve swelling, redness, pain, and tenderness caused by inflammation in various body parts.

It helps in reducing stiffness caused by osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis (stiffness in the spine), pediatric arthritis (stiff joints in children), and rheumatoid arthritis.

Naproxen, in the form of suspension, is administered to children with pediatric arthritis. Naproxen is an anti-inflammatory painkiller. It is used to manage pain and inflammation in adults and adolescents over the age of 16 suffering from various kinds of arhtritis, as well as gout, and severe period pain.

Naproxen is a type of medicine called a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, or NSAID for short. It provides relief in pain and inflammation in arthritis by blocking the production of substances in the body called prostaglandins. When prostaglandins are produced, they promote swelling, pain, and inflammation in the body in response to injury. Hence, by decreasing their production, felbinac reduces pain and inflammation in the body.

NSAID stands for non-steroidal, anti-inflammatory drug. These are anti-inflammatory medicines, medicines which decrease inflammation. They are typically used to treat pain, arthritis, and are commonly taken for either the short term or the long term. Most NSAIDs have stomach side effects because they decrease your body's natural protection against acid in the gastrointestinal tract.
