What to do if Experiencing Serious Side Effects From Fosamax - NY Attorney Michael Werner explains more at: https://www.yourlawyer.com/def....ective-drug-attorney

Watch as Florda attorney Michael Werner of Parker Waichman discusses how recent information has come to light showing that the prescription drug Fosamax is not as effective as once thought.

Fosamax is a drug in the medical class of bisphosphonates. Bisphosphonates help treat and prevent bone loss in patients. But, according to reports, the drug is doing severe damage to the bones instead. The drug has been linked to numerous cases of jawbone disease, esophageal cancer, and atypical arrhythmia. The FDA even asked the manufacturers to put a warning on the drug's label recognizing the risk of a certain type of fracture, atypical femur fractures which mean the bones were broken without trauma or accident.

These bones were breaking with every day activity such as getting out of a car or walking to the mailbox. After further testing, the FDA also announced that according to their studies the drug did not have any effectiveness after a 3 year period. With millions of women prescribed this drug every year, there is a huge potential risk of not only severe injuries but of no actual medical benefit. Watch this video now to learn more.

Mom's life insurance policy was not near enough to cover her funeral services. And we believe she was given a medication that caused this to happen to our mom. We are speaking with attorneys to get a case started on this A.S.A.P. We will need all the help we can get to get this underway. From the moment she took that pill, She was very sick and got worse every day, She had me do some research on the meds given to her, I found out that there were so many bad side effects to this medicine, that no one in their right mind would take this stuff if they were told of the side effects, which of course, they did not inform her of. one of them being the loss of oxygen... why would any dr. give that to someone with COPD? It wasn't even her Dr. that prescribed it to her, she was off that day, and not only did they prescribe it, but they also gave her the highest dosage of this so-called medicine called Alendronate Sodium Tablets, 70mg, when she is sensitive to most meds. they could have started her on 5mg. I told her not to take it, she said she already did. So we made an appointment to try and have that stuff removed from her system, but she didn't make it that long. She woke up with very low oxygen on that day she went down and never recovered from it, and suffered severe brain damage. We were forced to let our Mom go because she could not live for long without life support. Therefore we are filing a wrongful death or malpractice suit against the doctors that prescribed this garbage to my Mom. Although I am embarrassed to ask, Any help would be appreciated. If anyone wants to do any research on this drug, so that this doesn't happen to you or a loved one, it's called Alendronate Sodium Tablets, 70mg. Side Effects

What is ALENDRONATE (Fosamax)? What is Alendronate used for? Alendronate Dose, Uses and Side Effects

Alendronate, marketed as Fosamax®, is a prescription medication used to treat and prevent osteoporosis, characterized by weakened or brittle bones. It comes in tablet forms of varying strengths including 5 mg, 10 mg, 35 mg, 40 mg, and 70 mg, all administered orally.

Instructions for Taking and Storing Alendronate

Doctors may prescribe alendronate for daily or weekly use. It is crucial to follow the instructions on the label precisely. Always consume the tablet in the morning and, if taking weekly, choose the same day each week to maintain consistency. Keep the tablets at room temperature, sealed well in their container away from moisture and direct light.

Common Side Effects

While taking alendronate, some may experience:

Stomach discomfort or pain
Muscle, bone, or joint pain
Headaches
Difficulty or pain when swallowing
Nausea, diarrhea, constipation, or gas
It's important to report any side effects to your healthcare provider.

Special Usage Instructions

To prevent damage to the esophagus, it is essential to take alendronate correctly. Consume the medication first thing in the morning, with a full glass of water, and before any food or other drinks. The tablet should be swallowed whole, without chewing or sucking. Avoid lying down for at least 30 minutes post-consumption and ensure you have eaten before reclining.

If additional calcium and vitamin D are needed, these supplements should be taken at least 30 minutes after the alendronate dose to ensure proper absorption.

Osteoporosis DRUGS Cause MORE FRACTURES & BAD SIDE EFFECTS?
Osteoporosis DRUGS Cause MORE FRACTURES & BAD SIDE EFFECTS? Side Effects 0 Views • 2 months ago

Should you take bone drugs like Fosamax for menopause osteoporosis? How bad are the side effects? Do they actually work? In this video, we’ll discuss the effectiveness of the most commonly prescribed drugs for menopause osteoporosis. We’ll also take an honest look at the serious, sometimes dangerous side effects and long-term risks of bisphosphonates so you can make an informed decision.

My digital course, The Menopause Solution, teaches you everything you need to know about hormone replacement therapy (HRT) and the impact of optimal hormones on bone strength. Check it out at this link:

I'm Steve Goldring, The Hormone Pharmacist. If you're in menopause and you're considering hormone replacement therapy . . . you've come to the right place. I've spent 30 years talking with women in menopause about hormone replacement therapy (HRT) for menopause over the pharmacy counter. This channel boils down the HRT research to help you see how optimal ("just right") hormone levels can eliminate your menopause symptoms and reduce your health risks at the same time.
