Ubrogepant is currently brand only and known as Ubrelvy. This drug is a Calcitonin Gene-Related Peptide (CGRP) Receptor Antagonist used to treat migraines. There are two tablet strengths being the 50 mg and 100 mg dose. Initiated begins between 50 - 100 mg po for one dose and may be repeated after 2 hours for one more dose. The max dose is 200 mg per day. Dose adjustments should be made in patients with renal and/or hepatic impairment. This drug is primarily metabolized hepatically through the CYP3A4 pathway.
