Lurasidone hcl (Latuda) tablets are used for schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.

It can produce involuntary movement due to blockage of dopamine receptors. Orthostatic hypotension is another effect produced by this medication. It is available as tablet and normally, it can be started at a dose of 40 mg. Lurasidone side effects are mild and well tolerated. It can cause sleepiness, dizziness, rhinitis and salivary secretion.
