In the United States right now, there are two FDA-approved medications for treatment of obesity or overweight in people who have medical co-morbidities, like high blood pressure, high cholesterol or sleep apnea. These drugs, semaglutide and tirzepatide, are sold under four different brand names: Ozempic, Mounjaro, Wegovy and Zepbound.
