I'm John Barbieri, MD, a board-certified dermatologist and acne expert at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School. In this video we will discuss how to prevent common Accutane (isotretinoin) side effects such as dryness. Although often thought of as a difficult treatment, it doesn’t have to be this way!

However, isotretinoin is not the right treatment for everyone, so make sure to discuss with a healthcare professional before considering whether to take isotretinoin.
