Welcome to @HealthyKidneyInc! In this video I will be tackling a lot of concerns we've been seeing lately around Sodium Bicarbonate, and if it raises blood pressure in Kidney Disease.

It is important to note that sodium bicarbonate is not sodium chloride (your regular table salt you definitely want to stay away from), and therefore is safe to consume with chronic kidney disease and will not have the negative effects of table salt. Studies have suggested that treatment with sodium bicarbonate, also known as baking soda can help keep kidney disease from getting worse. This helps with the complications in acid levels in the body caused by chronic kidney disease. The recommended dose we suggest is 1-3 pills 650 MG pills a day. Hope this helps! 😃
