Opill®, norgestrel 0.075 mg tablets, a contraceptive intended to prevent pregnancy, may cause side effects including changes in menstrual periods (bleeding).

Slynd® (drospirenone tablets 4mg), Rx only, is used to as contraception to prevent pregnancy. Slynd® may cause side effects, the most common is irregular bleeding. Other less common side effects may include headache, breast pain and tenderness, weight gain, menstrual cramps, nausea, severe vaginal bleeding, less sexual desire.
