May is National Lyme Disease Awareness Month, a chance for Lyme patients, activists, and educators to spread information.

About this event
Unlike traditional psychiatry, which rarely looks at the brain, Amen Clinics uses brain imaging technology to identify patterns associated with Lyme disease and other infections.
It is well known that Lyme disease and other infections can cause physiological symptoms, including fevers, swollen glands, sore throat, headache, and joint pain or swelling. But many people are unaware that they can also lead to cognitive and neuropsychological issues.
Chronic Lyme disease is often associated with neurological symptoms that are both difficult to treat and debilitating.

In this presentation, we will discuss:
the neurological manifestation of Lyme Disease and co-infections
how tick-borne diseases can mimic other neurological diseases among both the adult and pediatric populations
the connection between psychiatric disorders and Lyme disease
