Unisom Simple Slumbers Melatonin Sleep Aid Gummies Review
Unisom Simple Slumbers Melatonin Sleep Aid Gummies Review Side Effects 0 Views • 13 days ago

Loved getting to try out these melatonin gummies from Unisom. Home Tester Club sent me the Simple Slumbers sleep gummies to test and review (join free using link below). Love that these are low dose (5mg) gummies making them safer for kids as well as allowing me to take less melatonin than pill options. Serving size is 2 gummies, so it is easy to cut it down to 2.5 mg or to have half a gummy for even less if you just need a tiny amount to help you fall asleep at first. These are made out of high quality ingredients and they don't stick in your teeth making it great for before bed. The midnight raspberry flavor is great and tastes like gummy candies, so be careful not to eat too many! :) I found the Unisom gummies to be faster acting than pill options and that they help me to fall asleep quickly. The lower dose also seems like it avoids the vivid dream side effect of higher dose. I also tend to stay asleep better than I do when taker higher amounts of melatonin. I would definitely buy these again.

In this video, we’re going to talk about sleeping pills and insomnia. I'm also going to show you how to use certain acupressure techniques to help get rid of stress and sleep better. I understand the feeling of not being able to sleep. It can feel like torture. I really want to help you learn the best way to sleep better.

The two big problems with sleeping pills:

1. 6 out of 10 people experience side effects from sleeping pills
A few side effects of sleeping pills:
• Drowsiness
• Confusion
• Forgetfulness
• Tiredness during the day

2. Sleeping pills may only give you a small amount of extra sleep (less than 30 minutes), and only help you go to sleep 8-20 minutes faster.

How to get rid of insomnia naturally:

1. Read a book instead of watching TV before bed
2. Walk (45-60 minutes)
3. Stretch before bed
4. Neck technique
5. Avoid too much caffeine

Another good remedy for sleep disorders:
• L-tryptophan (take on an empty stomach)

The sleep aid I recommend not only has l-tryptophan, but it also has all sorts of other ingredients to help extract stress and allow you to drift off into a wonderful sleep. Not only will it help you get to sleep faster, but it will also help you wake up more refreshed.

How to use Unisom - Explain Uses,Side Effects,Interactions
How to use Unisom - Explain Uses,Side Effects,Interactions Side Effects 1 Views • 13 days ago

Diphenhydramine, commonly known as Unisom, is an antihistamine that can be used to relieve symptoms of allergies, hay fever, and the common cold. These symptoms include rash, itching, watery eyes, runny nose, and sneezing. It can also help prevent and treat nausea, vomiting, and dizziness caused by motion sickness. Additionally, it can help you relax and fall asleep.

This medication works by blocking certain natural substances in your body that cause allergic reactions, such as histamine and acetylcholine. It is important to note that cough-and-cold products containing diphenhydramine are not recommended for children under 6 years old, and some long-acting forms are not recommended for children under 12 years old. It's important to talk to your doctor or pharmacist for more details on safely using these products.

It's also important to note that these products do not cure or shorten the length of a common cold and may cause serious side effects, so it's important to carefully follow the dosage directions. Do not use this product to make a child sleepy, and be cautious of giving other cough-and-cold medications that contain similar ingredients. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist about other ways to relieve cough and cold symptoms, such as staying hydrated and using a humidifier or saline nose drops/spray.

As for the optimal timing and dosage, it's best to follow the instructions provided by your healthcare professional.

Unisom vs ZzzQuil Review: Differences & SImilarities [What's Better for Sleep]
Unisom vs ZzzQuil Review: Differences & SImilarities [What's Better for Sleep] Side Effects 2 Views • 13 days ago

Unisom: https://amzn.to/2wlKbxt
ZzzQuil: https://amzn.to/2VGmjz5

Check our full comparison of the two including side effects, pros, cons, FAQ, etc here:

Components - Unisom has doxylamine for its active ingredient. Doxylamine is an antihistamine that is FDA-approved. It’s clinically proven to help people sleep faster. It works by blocking the histamine and acetylcholine that our body produces to keep us awake.

Diphenhydramine is the active ingredient of ZzzQuil and it’s an antihistamine as well. Diphenhydramine is often used in allergy medication because it can relieve symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing. Drowsiness is one of its side effects which is why it’s used in many sleep aids.

Next, let’s compare the suggested dosage. The recommended dosage for Unisom is 1 tablet half for adults and should be taken an hour before sleep. But a lot of users advise that it’s better to start at half a tablet because it’s very effective. It shouldn’t be given to kids under 12 years. Unisom shouldn’t be used continuously for more than 14 days. Only take it when you can sleep for a full night. Otherwise, you’ll wake up feeling tired.

Just a single dosage of ZzzQuil should be taken. Kids younger than 12 years shouldn’t take this medication. It can’t be taken for more than 2 weeks. To prevent having a “hangover” effect, it’s best to take ZzzQuil if you can sleep for at least 8 hours.

In Conclusion, I’ve found that even if they have different active ingredients, Unisom and ZzzQuil are very much alike when it comes to effectivity, price, and safety. Both are fast-effecting, safe for short term use and effective in helping you sleep faster. Still, Unisom has a slight edge since it uses doxylamine that has been approved by the FDA to be safe for pregnant women. So, if you’re expecting definitely, go for Unisom.

Other than that they’re quite similar. So, I suggest that you give each one a try to see which one works best personally for you.
