Fatal Side Effects
Xolair is used to treat types of allergic asthma, nasal polyps, chronic hives, and to reduce the risk of severe food-related allergic reactions. It should not be used for asthma attacks or the emergency treatment of allergic reactions.
Learn more: https://www.drugs.com/xolair.html
It was first approved by the FDA in 2003.
This medication is an anti-IgE antibody. It works by blocking the binding of IgE to receptors on cells, which in turn stops the release of the chemicals responsible for allergy symptoms.
Xolair is given as an injection under the skin every 2 to 4 weeks, depending on the condition. The first dose should be given under the supervision of a healthcare provider in case of a life-threatening allergic reaction.
Common Xolair side effects include joint pain, tiredness, bone fractures, stomach pain, dizziness, itching, skin rash, headache, earache, and injection site reactions. Side effects vary depending on the condition being treated and the age group of the patient.

Rifaximin is the number one recommended medication for small intestinal bacterial overgrowth. It costs about $2,000 for a 10 day course, and like any treatment, is not guaranteed to work.
Is there a metric available that helps you understand the odds of the medication working for you?
Yes, there is. The metric is Number Needed to Treat (NNT).
What is the NNT for Rifaximin?

Small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO) is the overgrowth of too many bacteria, usually in your ileum. The most common cause of SIBO is too many carbs in your diet leading to too much sugar in your small intestine. SIBO-causing bacteria love this sugar and use to multiply and invade your small intestine in large numbers.
This simple strategy removes the sugar and forces the bacteria back into your colon, where they belong...

Alli is an over-the-counter weight loss supplement. It is designed to help people lose weight by blocking some of the fat that is eaten from being absorbed by the body.
Unfortunately, Alli has negative side effects. These include gas, bloating, and diarrhoea. Alli is not recommended for long-term use, as it is not safe for your long-term health.
Now, let's talk about PhenQ. PhenQ is a weight-loss supplement that is designed to help you lose weight in a safe and effective way. Unlike Alli, PhenQ suppresses your appetite, increases energy levels, and burns fat. PhenQ contains a unique blend of natural ingredients, including caffeine, nopal, and l-carnitine, which work together to help you burn fat and lose weight.
PhenQ also helps to boost your metabolism and energy levels. Finally, PhenQ is backed by a 60-day money-back guarantee, so you can be sure that you will get your money’s worth.
When it comes to choosing between Alli and PhenQ, I personally recommend PhenQ. PhenQ is made with natural ingredients and does not contain any stimulants or synthetic ingredients, making it a safe and effective weight-loss supplement. Plus, it is designed to help you reach your weight-loss goals in a healthy and sustainable way.
I personally tried both of them. Alli gave me terrible side effects but PhenQ successfully helped me reduce weight. So if you're looking for a weight-loss supplement, I recommend PhenQ over Alli. PhenQ is a safe and effective option that can help you reach your weight-loss goals in a healthy and sustainable way. Thanks for watching, and good luck with your weight-loss journey!

The safety profile of Anti-Obesity Medication ( Orlistat ): Dr.Ravi Shankar Endocrinologist MRCP(UK) CCT - GIM (UK)
Uses
This medication is used with a doctor-approved exercise, behavior change, and reduced-calorie diet program to help you lose weight. It is used by certain overweight people, such as those who are obese or have weight-related medical problems. Taking orlistat can also help keep you from gaining back weight you have lost. Losing weight and keeping it off can lessen the many health risks that come with obesity, including heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, and a shorter life.Dietary fats need to be broken down into smaller pieces before the body can absorb them. Orlistat works by blocking the enzyme that breaks down fats in your diet. This undigested fat then passes out of your body in your bowel movement. Orlistat does not block the absorption of calories from sugar and other non-fat foods, so you still need to restrict your total intake of calories.
How to use Orlistat Capsule
If you are taking the over-the-counter product to self-treat, read all directions on the product package before taking this medication.
If your doctor has prescribed this medication, read the Patient Information Leaflet if available from your pharmacist before you start taking orlistat and each time you get a refill. Take this medication as directed by your doctor, by mouth with liquid sometime during each meal that contains fat or within 1 hour after the meal, usually 3 times daily. If you miss a meal or your meal contains no fat, skip that dose of the medication. To decrease the chance of unpleasant side effects, it is very important that no more than 30% of the calories in your diet come from fat. Your daily intake of fat, protein, and carbohydrates should be evenly spread over 3 main meals.
Do not increase your dose or use this drug more often or for longer than prescribed. Your condition will not improve any faster, and your risk of side effects will increase.
Because this drug can interfere with the absorption of certain vitamins (fat-soluble vitamins including A, D, E, K), a daily multivitamin supplement containing these nutrients is recommended. Take the multivitamin at least 2 hours before or 2 hours after taking orlistat (such as at bedtime).
If you take cyclosporine, take it at least 3 hours before or after orlistat to make sure the full dose of cyclosporine is absorbed into your bloodstream. If you take levothyroxine, take it at least 4 hours before or after orlistat.
You should see some weight loss within 2 weeks after you start orlistat. Tell your doctor if your condition does not improve or if it worsens.
