[FREE GUIDE] The Vitamins That Cured My Chronic Fatigue: https://www.felixharder.net/vitaminlist
Note: This video is taken from my premium program https://www.felixharder.net/program

Vitamin E is one of the major vitamins that exist naturally in foods. In this video, I want to talk about what vitamin E is, its roles in the body and how to get enough of it, which means we will talk about vitamin E supplementation at the end of this video.

Let’s start by discussing what vitamin E is and why we need it.

Vitamin E is an essential dietary nutrient, meaning we need to get it from food and cannot produce it ourselves. Even though it is often thought of as a single nutrient, it’s actually a group of eight fat-soluble compounds with powerful antioxidant effects. All of them are fat-soluble, meaning they are better absorbed when combined with fat and they can also be stored in fat tissue in the body.

The RDA for vitamin E is 15 mg daily (or 22 international units, IU). Vitamin E has several different functions in the body. The main ones are:

Act as Antioxidant:

Similar to vitamin C, vitamin E can act as a powerful antioxidant in the body, and studies have linked a higher vitamin E intake to reduced markers of oxidative stress as well as higher antioxidant defenses. Bascially, you can see it as a protection the body against inflammation and stress of all sorts.

Cell Membrane integrity:

Even though vitamin E is only a minor component of the cell membrane, so the outer wall of the cell, it may plays a significant role in its integrity. Once it enter the cell membrane, it appears to fix itself in place to stabilize the membrane and give it structure. As you can imagine, without Vitamin E as a stabilizer, cell membranes can more easily rupture, which ultimately leads to a quicker cell death and all the negative side effects such as inflammation and disease that come with it.

Neurological Functioning

And lastly, Vitamin E is required for the proper functioning of the central nervous system. It helps avoid neurological problems, such as difficulty coordinating movements and speech, loss of reflexes in the legs , and burning/tingling sensation in the extremities. While the exact role of vitamin E in this isn’t entirely clear, the reason is probably that its antioxidant properties protects the brain and nervous system against disease.

Let's now talk about high vitamin e foods and its best sources. In general, the foods highest in vitamin e are plant oil, seeds and nuts. Individual foods include sunflower seeds and almonds especially when roasted as well as canola oil. However, by fat the best source is Wheat germ oil with over 150 mg of vitamin e per 100g. Also red palm oil, which is not the same as white palm oil that most people are familiar with, is a very good vitamin e source.

This then brings me to vitamin e supplementation. If you decide to supplement, I recommend you get a quality vitamin e product. Unfortunately, most of the products you find only include alpha-tocopherol, which is only one of the eight forms of natural vitamin e. This is done for cost reasons and because alpha-tocopherol appears to be the most active form. However, that doesn’t mean you dont need the other forms and I personally believe taking large amounts of a single nutrient without its cofactors is never a good idea.

So instead, look for the following when buying a vitamin e supplement:

- it contains all 8 vitamin e forms. There are 4 tocopherols (alpha, beta, gamma and delta), and 4 tocotrienols (alpha, beta, gamma and delta).
- it is not made of soybean/canola/sunflower/flaxseed oil because they are not stable at high temps, which these supplements often undergo during processing.
- is made of red palm oil, rice oil or rice bran
- a quality product will have anywhere between 100 and 400 iu but more is not always better so dont be fooled by potency claims: 1 mg alpha-tocopherol equals 1,49 IU vitamin E. The other 3 tocopherols and all 4 tocotrienols allow much lower vitamin E claims, with 1 mg being only around 0,04 IU of vitamin E.

The Problem with Vitamin E Supplements
The Problem with Vitamin E Supplements Side Effects 3 Views • 5 months ago

Vitamin E plays critical roles in immune function, cell signaling, and fighting oxidative stress.

Sadly, according to data from the Nurses Health Study, 89 percent of Americans don’t get enough of this essential vitamin. And while it may seem like supplementation is an easy solution, recent studies have shown that the form of vitamin E that is found in most supplements and multivitamins—called alpha-tocopherol—not only doesn’t help, but it may also increase the risk of cancer and heart disease.

In this video, I explain how to optimize your vitamin E intake so you can get all of the benefits without any risks.

Vitamin D is a nutrient your body needs for building and maintaining healthy bones. That's because your body can only absorb calcium, the primary component of bone, when vitamin D is present. Vitamin D also regulates many other cellular functions in your body. Its anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and neuroprotective properties support immune health, muscle function and brain cell activity.

Vitamin D isn't naturally found in many foods, but you can get it from fortified milk, fortified cereal, and fatty fish such as salmon, mackerel and sardines. Your body also makes vitamin D when direct sunlight converts a chemical in your skin into an active form of the vitamin (calciferol).

The amount of vitamin D your skin makes depends on many factors, including the time of day, season, latitude and your skin pigmentation. Depending on where you live and your lifestyle, vitamin D production might decrease or be completely absent during the winter months. Sunscreen, while important to prevent skin cancer, also can decrease vitamin D production.

Many older adults don't get regular exposure to sunlight and have trouble absorbing vitamin D. If your doctor suspects you're not getting enough vitamin D, a simple blood test can check the levels of this vitamin in your blood.

Taking a multivitamin with vitamin D may help improve bone health. The recommended daily amount of vitamin D is 400 international units (IU) for children up to age 12 months, 600 IU for people ages 1 to 70 years, and 800 IU for people over 70 years.

Evidence
Research on vitamin D use for specific conditions shows:

Cancer. Findings on the benefits of vitamin D for cancer prevention are mixed. More studies are needed to determine whether vitamin D supplementation may reduce the risk of certain cancers.
Cognitive health. Research shows that low levels of vitamin D in the blood are associated with cognitive decline. However, more studies are needed to determine the benefits of vitamin D supplementation for cognitive health.
Inherited bone disorders. Vitamin D supplements can be used to help treat inherited disorders resulting from an inability to absorb or process vitamin D, such as familial hypophosphatemia.
Multiple sclerosis. Research suggests that long-term vitamin D supplementation reduces the risk of multiple sclerosis.
Osteomalacia. Vitamin D supplements are used to treat adults with severe vitamin D deficiency, resulting in loss of bone mineral content, bone pain, muscle weakness and soft bones (osteomalacia).
Osteoporosis. Studies suggest that people who get enough vitamin D and calcium in their diets can slow bone mineral loss, help prevent osteoporosis and reduce bone fractures. Ask your doctor if you need a calcium and vitamin D supplement to prevent or treat osteoporosis.
Psoriasis. Applying vitamin D or a topical preparation that contains a vitamin D compound called calcipotriene to the skin can treat plaque-type psoriasis in some people.
Rickets. This rare condition develops in children with vitamin D deficiency. Supplementing with vitamin D can prevent and treat the problem.

Safety and side effects
Taken in appropriate doses, vitamin D is generally considered safe.

However, taking too much vitamin D in the form of supplements can be harmful. Children age 9 years and older, adults, and pregnant and breastfeeding women who take more than 4,000 IU a day of vitamin D might experience:

Nausea and vomiting
Poor appetite and weight loss
Constipation
Weakness
Confusion and disorientation
Heart rhythm problems
Kidney stones and kidney damage
Interactions
Possible interactions include:

Aluminum. Taking vitamin D and aluminum-containing phosphate binders, which may be used to treat high serum phosphate levels in people with chronic kidney disease, might cause harmful levels of aluminum in people with kidney failure in the long term.
Anticonvulsants. The anticonvulsants phenobarbital and phenytoin (Dilantin, Phenytek) increase the breakdown of vitamin D and reduce calcium absorption.
Atorvastatin (Lipitor). Taking vitamin D might affect the way your body processes this cholesterol drug.
Calcipotriene (Dovonex, Sorilux). Don't take vitamin D with this psoriasis drug. The combination might increase the risk of too much calcium in the blood (hypercalcemia).
Cholestyramine (Prevalite). Taking vitamin D with this cholesterol-lowering drug can reduce your absorption of vitamin D.
Cytochrome P-450 3A4 (CYP3A4) substrates. Use vitamin D cautiously if you're taking drugs processed by these enzymes.
Digoxin (Lanoxin). Avoid taking high doses of vitamin D with this heart medication. High doses of vitamin D can cause hypercalcemia, which increases the risk of fatal heart problems with digoxin.

Vitamin D3 Benefits, Uses and Side Effects | Everything You Need To Know!
Vitamin D3 Benefits, Uses and Side Effects | Everything You Need To Know! Side Effects 2 Views • 5 months ago

https://www.epicnaturalhealth.....com/vitamin-d3-benef
In this video I’m going to show you Vitamin D3 benefits, uses and side effects
So How many of your daily nutrients do you really think you get? The problem with the standard American diet is that the foods we consume simply don’t contain the right ingredients to provide us with the fuel we need to thrive. One nutrient that we so commonly fall short of in our daily diets is vitamin D3. We all know that sunlight is another source of vitamin D3 – but what happens when we don’t get enough of that either?
So What is vitamin D3?
Vitamin D3 is a fat-soluble vitamin that helps your body to effectively absorb calcium and phosphorus. Technically, Vitamin D isn’t actually a vitamin. It’s a steroid hormone, which our bodies can make themselves, providing they can create the right conditions to do so. However, if we don’t manage to make enough vitamin D3, we can also acquire it from food sources. Having the right amount of vitamin D in our bodies is vital for building and maintaining strong, healthy bones.
You may find that you’re not getting enough vitamin D3 if you suffer from digestive issues such as celiac disease, liver problems, or Crohn's disease. As the sun is also a source of vitamin D3, you’re generally more likely to be vitamin D3 deficient if you don’t go outside a lot, or cover up from the sun when you do.
So What happens if you’re vitamin D3 deficient?
If you have a deficiency in vitamin D3, you’re at risk of developing something called rickets. This is a disease caused by low levels of vitamin D3 that can cause bone distortion, most commonly characterised by bow-shaped legs. Children who don’t take enough vitamin D3 are at a higher risk of developing rickets.
If you’re an adult, being deficient in vitamin D3 might not lead to the development of rickets disease, but your bones may still start to become softer, which is known as osteomalacia. Osteomalacia can make your bones more susceptible to fractures, as they lose some of their strength and rigidity.
Luckily, you don’t have to live with the effects of a vitamin D deficiency for the rest of your life, or even experience them at all. You can easily increase your intake of vitamin D3 to help improve and maintain your bone health, as well as promoting a number of different benefits that we’ll cover in this video.
Lets take a look at the Benefits of vitamin D3
No 1 For immune function
Vitamin D3 has the power to regulate the body’s immune responses. It’s incredibly important that our immune system works well, as we need it to defend the body from foreign organisms, preventing us from falling ill and helping us to maintain good health. A number of studies have found that a deficiency in vitamin D is associated with increased autoimmune disorders, as well as an increased susceptibility to infection.
No 2 For maintaining calcium and phosphorus levels
One of vitamin D3’s most important roles is to help the body produce and maintain sufficient levels of calcium and phosphorus. Both of these minerals are vital for retaining bone strength, which is why you will have heard that getting enough vitamin D3 is essential for warding off conditions like rickets, osteomalacia, and osteoporosis. It’s not actually the vitamin D3 itself that affects bone strength, but the calcium and phosphorus produced by the vitamin D3.
No3 For reversing heart damage
A recent study found that maintaining sufficient levels of vitamin D3 has the potential to reverse the damage of high blood pressure, diabetes, and other diseases that affect the cardiovascular system. Not only that, but doctors have recently begun to notice that many patients who’ve experienced a heart attack or heart attack symptoms also have a deficiency of vitamin D3. This isn’t to say that a D3 deficiency necessarily causes a heart attack, but there’s evidence to suggest it’s linked to an increased heart attack risk.
No 4 For regulating blood sugar levels
There’s not so much research on this yet, but it’s thought that vitamin D3 may be able to help improve the body's sensitivity to insulin – the hormone that we need to regulate blood sugar levels – and therefore reduce the potential for insulin resistance. This may mean that higher levels of vitamin D3 can lessen the risk of developing type 2 diabetes.
No 5 For improved neurogenerative function
Interestingly, good levels of vitamin D3 goes beyond the physical and may also be able to help us mentally. It’s been found that vitamin D3 can support brain
