Fatal Side Effects
The video contains a simple and visual explanation of how bendroflumethiazide and indapamide, both thiazide diuretics, work to encourage the kidneys to excrete more water and sodium. We cover some basics about how the nephron works and look in detail at the action of thiazide diuretics on the thiazide sensitive sodium chloride co transporter molecule in the distal tubule of the nephron. We also talk about the indications, some practical tips on using thiazide diuretics, adverse effects and contraindications.

FDA crack down on Imodium: https://youtu.be/DbnF3H7VL_U
The FDA is now cracking down on Loperamide, also known as Imodium. The problem is that many people who are suffering from the opioid addiction are turning to Imodium or Loperamide in large doses. What that does is kind of give you a high. Also, for people who are trying to get off of the opioid drugs it's a way to reduce the side effects.
Now, Imodium, or Loperamide, is very effective and safe for diarrhea. However, large doses can be dangerous. A lot of us don't know that Loperamide or Imodium can work in a similar way as morphine. It's an opiate receptor agonist, so we’ve got to be careful. Taken with the advice of a doctor and taken in the right quantities it could be fine. You have got to be careful taking it in large quantities.
So, the FDA will see what they have in store to curb some of these addiction problems. But for you, do your best in maintaining a healthy life. Don't always jump to a medicine for symptoms such as diarrhea, see what you can do with your diet. Eat foods that are not super high in fiber or too greasy to begin with. Also, maintain a healthy diet with fruits and veggies and avoid a lot of red meat and processed foods. That will also help.
Remember, make healthy living a part of every day. Thank you.

Imodium (Loperamide) – Side Effects, Uses, Mechanism of Action, Dosage, Interactions, Warnings
Imodium, or loperamide, is an over-the-counter antidiarrheal medication used to treat acute, chronic, and travelers' diarrhea, as well as to normalize bowel function post-surgery. It works by binding to opioid receptors in the gut to inhibit acetylcholine and prostaglandins, decreasing peristalsis, and increasing anal sphincter tone, thereby reducing stool frequency and urgency. Common side effects include constipation, dizziness, drowsiness, and nausea, while serious side effects may include severe allergic reactions, abdominal pain, and cardiovascular events. The dosage for adults typically starts at 4 mg followed by 2 mg after each unformed stool, with a maximum of 16 mg per day. For children, dosages are weight-based and require professional supervision. Interactions may occur with CNS depressants, opioids, anticholinergic drugs, HIV medications, and quinidine. Key warnings include avoiding use in bacterial enterocolitis, dysentery, and liver disease, and caution against potential abuse and serious cardiac events. Usage during pregnancy and breastfeeding should be under medical supervision.

Tips on how to use Aldara for genital warts. HPV or the human papilloma virus is a virus transmitted through physical and sexual contact. It can cause warts or itchy raised bumps on the skin that may be red and could contain pus. Some of these warts could manifest in the genital area, in the vagina, around the penis or in the anus. These warts can be itchy and uncomfortable, and the skin could break when scratched. An effective treatment for genital warts is a topical vanishing cream called Aldara. Aldara is an immune response modifier. Waysandhow.

This 3D animation was developed to provide an educational overview about warts. Warts are benign (not cancerous) skin growths that appear when a virus infects the top layer of the skin. Viruses that cause warts are called human papillomavirus (HPV), and different strains may cause them in different parts of the body. Warts can spread from one location on the body to another as well as from person to person by contact with the wart. Factors that increase the risk include use of public showers, working with meat, eczema and a weak immune system.

Reporting issues with medications:
In the UK anyone can report an issue with a medicine, vaccine, medical device, blood product or e-cigarette to the Yellow Card scheme.
The Yellow Card scheme is run by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), which safeguards medical products quality and efficacy in the United Kingdom.

How To Treat Genital & Anal Warts
Genital warts are benign growths that multiply, occurring in the genital and anal areas and the tissues close beside them.
They are common and can affect you at any age, but are most common in young people in their early 20s.
Their cause? They happen due to infection with human papillomavirus, HPV - specifically the low-risk genotypes 6 and 11, which are different from the high-risk HPV strains that are implicated in cervical cancer.
