Pradaxa is an anti-coagulant which basically means it prevents blood from clotting. Although there are other drugs that are used to treat the same condition, the manufacturers of Pradaxa promoted the drug stating that it didn't have the same issues as those other drugs. However, it has a very strong flaw that is causing massive health complications. With each of the drugs, you have the possibility to have a bleeding event. What this means is that when you bleed, it won't stop. Plus, with Pradaxa bleeding events can be caused by minor events that wouldn't make a normal person begin to bleed out. The flaw with Pradaxa is there is no current way to stop the bleeding quickly. You may even need dialysis to help you recover and that's if you have enough time. Watch this video now to learn more.

The side effects were challenging at first because I was at my lowest, and suddenly getting hit by nausea or an upset stomach wasn't something I really wanted but for me, I knew the jounrey would be worth it.
I made this video to share the reality of the common side effects of Sertraline because it can be scary when you start and feel like the only person who has had to go through this process.

My own experience with Sertraline really began in January 2020. I had taken prior to that but because I know better than someone who has spent years qualifying as a GP, I decided to stop taking Zoloft and manage it on my own. What an idiot. So January 2020 I managed to get to my GP and ask for a prescription. This started a journey that I wouldn't change, despite the challenges.
