5 Medical Senna Leaves Health Benefits, Uses and Side Effects (WEIGHT LOSS)
5 Medical Senna Leaves Health Benefits, Uses and Side Effects (WEIGHT LOSS) Side Effects 5 Views • 5 months ago

https://www.epicnaturalhealth.....com/the-lost-book-of
https://www.epicnaturalhealth.....com/medical-senna-le
Senna is a herb that's derived from the senna plant. This natural herbal medicine consists of several different parts of the senna plant, including the fruit, flowers and leaves of the plant.
For centuries, senna leaves have been used to make teas and extracts that can help to stimulate the digestive system, producing a laxative effect. This plant originated in Egypt.
Typically, senna is used as a short-term laxative, but it is often abused for its supposed "weight-loss benefits". This video will look at the proven benefits of senna leaves, their uses, and the potential side effects of senna. At the end of video is a book on the Healing Power of Plant Medicine you might be interested in.
1. Treats Constipation
The most common use of senna leaves is as a treatment for constipation. In medically-reviewed research, senna has found to contain specific compounds that have a laxative effect in the human body. They react with the lining of the colon, irritating it and causing it to contract.
Senna is beneficial to digestion in another way, too - it can prevent the colon from reabsorbing electrolytes and water, which helps to naturally add more water to the intestines, softening stool.
2. Used For Colonoscopy Prep
If you're preparing for a colonoscopy, you may be advised by your doctor to use a laxative medication made from senna leaves to cleanse your body beforehand.
Colonoscopies can be carried out for a number of reasons, most commonly to screen for colon cancer. Senna medication has been used for nearly 50 years in colonoscopy prep, so it clearly does the job, but again, there's little scientific evidence to support its efficiency in this role.
3. May Treat Gastrointestinal Disorders
Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is characterized by chronic stomach cramping and digestive issues.
Senna is used as a natural digestive aid for people who suffer from IBS-C, where constipation is a main symptom. Many people find that drinking senna tea on a daily basis keeps them regular because of senna's laxative property. Of course, senna isn't a good solution for people who have IBS-D, where diarrhea is a main symptom.
It's important to keep in mind that, being a stimulant laxative, senna is only intended for occasional use, and may cause issues when taken frequently. For that reason, it's not a good idea to take senna on a daily basis to treat digestive disorders such as IBS. It may have serious side effects if taken for longer periods, and you may become so used to taking the senna that you come to rely on it for bowel movement.
4. Anti-Parasitic

Senna is also effective in destroying parasites and expel worms from the intestinal tract. It works best when combined with other herbs used in the treatment of roundworm, such as ginger or fennel. These herbs increase regularity and reduce the chance of bowel cramps due to Senna’s strong action.

5. Skin Health

Senna leaves contain essential oils and tannins that help to alleviate skin inflammation. With a strong antibacterial activity, they can be made into a compress which can be applied to wounds and burns.

Acetone and ethanol - other compounds present in Senna - can fight the microorganisms that cause acne. Senna also helps to reduce sebum production and increase cell regeneration and collagen production.

The common side effects of senna appear to be relatively mild. Provided you're only taking senna for short-term treatment of constipation, you shouldn't experience any serious side effects.
Some of the common side effects of using senna tea are:
• Bowel/ abdominal discomfort & cramps
• Diarrhea
• Vomiting
• Nausea
These side effects are fairly expected, considering senna is used to treat and relieve constipation, which may cause diarrhea.
Because senna may be habit-forming, it's important that you don't rely on senna for bowel movement or drink senna tea on a daily basis. Long-term use of senna to help relieve constipation may increase the risk of liver damage and heart problems, as well as electrolyte disturbances.

Xarelto & Bleeding: The Life Threatening Side Effects

Helping victims of Xarelto side effects nationwide. Visit http://www.gregjoneslaw.com/xarelto-lawsuits/ to get free information on your Xarelto lawsuit.

There’s always risk of bleeding when you take a blood thinner. But there have been claims of a significantly higher risk for those using Xarelto than what the manufacturers warned the public about.

The F-D-A has seen more than 2,000 reports of severe adverse side effects related to Xarelto.

And many of those resulted in death.

Worse still, the company may have known about the risk.

Xarelto now has a warning on the label about the possibility of hemorrhaging.

But that warning comes too late for some patients.

And to make matters even worse, Xarelto is more dangerous than traditional blood thinners because no antidote exists to reverse its blood-thinning effects. This means that, in the event of an emergency, patients may be at risk for irreversible bleeding problems, including life-threatening internal and gastrointestinal hemorrhaging

Too often Pharmaceutical companies put making profit over people; money over health. Drug companies have a duty to provide safe products. If there are risks of harm associated with their products, they also must provide adequate warnings. If they fail to do this, they should be held responsible for injuries that it causes.

Unfortunately, the makers of Xarelto don’t have to live with the consequences of failing to warn of risks they knew or should have known of problems. Consequences that the victims and their families have to live with every single day. At Greg Jones Law we will try to get you justice. To hold the manufacturer liable for you medical expenses, lost wages, pain and suffering and for any permanent disability you or a loved one may suffer.

At Greg Jones Law, we have a proven track record of helping victims of dangerous drugs and medical devices. Contact us today for a free, no obligation consultation. We don’t need any money upfront and there is no legal fees unless you get paid. In other words, if you don’t get paid, we don’t get paid.

Your Medication Rivaroxaban

Rivaroxaban is also known by the brand name: Xarelto.

Rivaroxaban comes in 10, 15 and 20 mg tablets.

Rivaroxaban is most commonly used to prevent blood clots. No matter what your doctor has you taking it for, rivaroxaban is usually taken by mouth most commonly once a day with food and a full glass of water. If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as you think about it. If it is close to time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your normal dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at the same time or extra doses.

Some common side effects with rivaroxaban include bleeding, or hemorrhage.
Some less common side effects include back pain, nausea, itching, and tiredness.

Do not take rivaroxaban if you are taking another medication to prevent blood clots.

While taking rivaroxaban, remember it is important to tell your doctor or pharmacist if you have:
• Signs of an allergic reaction (rash, itching, swelling, tightness of the chest, etc.)
• An upcoming surgery
• Any signs of nerve problems like back pain, numbness or tingling, muscle weakness, paralysis, or loss of bladder or bowel control.
• Any signs of bleeding problems, like bruising; black, tarry, or bloody stools; bleeding gums; blood in the urine; coughing up blood; feeling dizzy; nosebleeds; throwing up blood

All forms of rivaroxaban need to be stored at room temperature in a dry place, protected from light. Keep rivaroxaban in a safe place out of reach of children and pets. Before throwing out any unused rivaroxaban, check with your pharmacist about proper disposal.

Risk of B-Cell Depleters Long-Term (Ocrevus, Rituximab, Kesimpta, Briumvi)
Risk of B-Cell Depleters Long-Term (Ocrevus, Rituximab, Kesimpta, Briumvi) Side Effects 5 Views • 5 months ago

Is it safe to take B-cell depleting medications for multiple sclerosis such as Ocrevus, Rituximab, Kesimpta, and Briumvi continuously for many years? In this video, I explain the immune system can become weaker over time with continuous use, and low immunoglobin (antibody) levels can result in serious infections.

Notes:

Is rituximab 500mg just as good as rituximab 1000mg for MS? This deescalation study suggests that decreasing the dose to 500mg does not affect clinical, MRI, or serum NfL results over a 12 month period and may be safer.
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/32840408/

Do you really need Ocrevus every 6 months? This study in Italy during the pandemic found that "extended interval dosing" was linked to more MRI activity but not disability progression or NEDA-3. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/36036858/

What happens if you delay Ocrevus due to fear of covid? Nothing! This retrospective study suggests that extended interval dosing compared to standard dosing did not significantly change relapses, disability progression, MRI activity. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34261812/

An extended dosing interval for rituximab for patients with stable MS during the COVID-19 pandemic may be associated with a low risk of disease activity. https://nn.neurology.org/content/7/5/e825?utm_source=Twitter&utm_medium=organic

Risperidone (Risperdal) REVIEW
Risperidone (Risperdal) REVIEW Side Effects 5 Views • 5 months ago

I review the anti-anxiety, as well as anti-psychotic medication Risperidone, the generic for Risperdal. Risperidone is used to treat anxiety and for people with more intense problems, bi-polar disorder and even schizophrenia. I was taking Risperidone for anxiety. In my opinion, and I am not a doctor or qualified medical professional in any way, I suggest to readjust your diet, consider if you are not getting enough nutrients at important times throughout the day (especially breakfast, if you are substituting morning meals for caffeine, which can deprive your brain of nutrients), as well as take a look at the privacy and well being of your current living situation, also your employment situation insofar as relationships at work or if it is a job that makes you happy. Also, I suggest that before starting medication to reevaluate your closest relationships in your life and if there is an imbalance that is causing you to have these problems or any possible outside influences that can be changed without the need for medication. Please consult a prescribing doctor, psychiatrist and psychologist to talk about this before deciding what treatment is right for you.

However, if you have questions, please just watch the whole video and if you are interested my videos on Citalopram (Celexa) and Zoloft (Sertraline) at the above links. I offer insight to anyone taking this medicine or considering taking this medicine for anxiety, depression or other problems. I wish you the best and wish I had the time to help out everyone. Here and there I try to help by responding to comments, but I have covered most of everything in the videos. Thanks for watching.

Here is information copied directly from WIkipedia on Risperdal (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Risperidone):

Risperidone, sold under the trade name Risperdal among others, is an antipsychotic medication.[1] It is mainly used to treat schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and irritability in people with autism. It is taken either by mouth or by injection into a muscle.[1] The injectable version is long acting and lasts for about two weeks.[2]

Common side effects include movement problems, sleepiness, trouble seeing, constipation, and increased weight.[1][3] Serious side effects may include the potentially permanent movement disorder tardive dyskinesia, as well as neuroleptic malignant syndrome, an increased risk of suicide, and high blood sugar levels.[1][2] In older people with psychosis as a result of dementia it may increase the risk of dying. It is unclear if it is safe for use in pregnancy. Risperidone is an atypical antipsychotic. Its mechanism of action is not entirely clear but believed to be related to its ability as a dopamine antagonist.[1]

It works by modulating dopamine and serotonin receptors in the brain, aiding in restoring the balance of these neurotransmitters.
Major indications of risperidone include the following.
In the treatment of schizophrenia spectrum disorder in adults and children of 13 years or older.
And to reduce irritability associated with autism spectrum disorder in children and adolescents aged 5 to 16 years.
Off-label uses include post traumatic stress disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, Tourette’s syndrome, and behavioral changes in dementia.
In this video, our primary goal is to explore the common Adverse Effects of Risperidone.
Risperidone is well-known to cause central nervous system side effects, which typically manifest as extrapyramidal symptoms, including the following.
Parkinsonism, which includes tremors, rigidity, and bradykinesia, or slowness of movement.
Restlessness.
Sustained muscle contractions.
And involuntary movements, especially with long-term use.
Metabolic side effects include weight gain, hypoglycemia and risk of new-onset diabetes, and dyslipidemia.
Endocrine effects include low prolactin levels, galactorrhea, gynecomastia, sexual dysfunction, and menstrual irregularities.
Sedation and Somnolence, especially in the beginning.
Cardiovascular Effects, including orthostatic hypotension, QT prolongation, and increased risk of stroke in elderly patients.
Anticholinergic Effects, including dry mouth, constipation, and urinary retention.
And finally, neuroleptic Malignant Syndrome, which is a rare, but potentially life-threatening reaction, characterized by hyperthermia, muscle rigidity, altered mental status, and autonomic instability.

Xeljanz vs Rinvoq: Same Drug Class But Is One Really Better Than The Other?
Xeljanz vs Rinvoq: Same Drug Class But Is One Really Better Than The Other? Side Effects 5 Views • 5 months ago

11 Safe And Effective Natural Options Beyond Drugs and Surgery [free checklist]: https://curtis-alexander.com/

For various reasons the topic of Xeljanz vs. Rinvoq tends to come up more often than not.

Sometimes it's because Rinvoq is the new kid on the block trying to knock the 7 years veteran (at the time of this video) Xeljanz off the hill.

Plenty of doctors (based off survey's) believe Rinvoq deserves the nod because of who it's manufacturer is. That doesn't make it right - but that's they way people (and yes, your doctor too) operate.

And then there's your prescription insurance - they may have a totally different take on what they're willing to pay for.

So in the video I try to give you a breakdown line by line with Xeljanz and Rinvoq.

A hint: it's a lot closer in my mind than certain parties try to make it out to be.
