Indication:
Neuro-B is a brand name of tablet containing vitamins B1, B6 and B12 combination. These vitamins are essential components of enzyme systems that regulate metabolic processes.
Vitamin B1 (Thiamine Mononitrate) requirements are directly related to the carbohydrate intake and its metabolic rate.
Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine Hydrochloride) requirements tend to increase as protein intake increases due to its role in amino acid metabolism.
Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamin) is involved as a synthesis, methionine formation and protein coenzyme in various reactions, including DNA metabolism.
Vitamin B12 has also an important role in the maturation of the erythrocytes. Neuro-B is used for the treatment of Vitamin B deficiency.

Do not take Neuro-B & talk to your doctor:
If you have hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of Neuro-B.

Take special care with Neuro-B:
Pregnancy and Lactation:
No studies are available on possible accumulation of the vitamins in breast milk beyond the normal range. In the individual case, the doctor decides whether Neuro-B coated tablets should be taken during pregnancy or the nursing period.

Taking other medicines:
Vitamin B accelerates the peripheral metabolism of levodopa. Administered in high doses, Vitamin B6 counteracts the effect of levodopa.

How to take Neuro-B:
The doctor will decide what dose of Neuro-B you should take. Always take Neuro-B exactly as your doctor has told you to. The usual dose is one tablet to be taken daily or as directed by the physician.

If you take more Neuro-B then you should:
In case of overdosage of Vitamin B6 (500 mg daily or more for more than 5 months), peripheral sensory neuropathies may occur in rare cases. This, however, is generally reversible on withdrawal of treatment.
