Ventolin is a well-known reliever treatment for asthma. It gets to work quickly to relieve symptoms like shortness of breath and wheezing when they appear. Here Dr Daniel Atkinson, the Clinical Lead at Treated, talks us through it.
Reliever inhalers like Ventolin are the most common type of treatment for asthma. They’re typically taken ‘on-demand’ when symptoms appear, and they get to work quickly to re-open your airways when they become constricted. The active ingredient in Ventolin is salbutamol, which is what’s known as a corticosteroid. You can also take it before exercise to help prevent symptoms from appearing.
Ventolin is available as either an Evohaler or an Accuhaler, the Evohaler is a bit more like a traditional asthma inhaler, where you deliver the dose with the button and take a sharp breath in at the same time. Whereas the Accuhaler is a bit easier to use, because it delivers the dose when you breathe in, so you don’t have to time it with pressing a button.
The Treated team can help you get the asthma treatment you need. Subscribe, pause or stop whenever it suits you. Choose better.

The best acne pill: http://best-acne-pills-otc.com
Read the review: https://acnesupplementscritic.....com/puritans-pride-z
Zinc is added to this supplement in the form of gluconate which has been shown to slightly help acne. Amazon customers who have tried this product and reviewed it have either said it has helped them or they saw no results at all.
Others have also mentioned that it actually made their breakouts worse and this may be because zinc increases testosterone. Testosterone is the androgen that plays a role in the development of acne.
This supplement may be beneficial for people who are zinc deficient as deficiency in this mineral may cause pimples as well as dry and flaky skin.
Other ingredients in Zinc For Acne include 4 vitamins and Rose Hips which is a natural form of Vitamin C and has antioxidant properties as well.
When taken properly this supplement should not cause any bad side effects, but it is important to remember that zinc in high doses can become toxic. Also, zinc may interfere with current medications or antibiotics you are taking.
There are pros and cons to this product, but we suggest you give it a shot as it is inexpensive and may help someone's skin condition.

Benicar, Benicar HCT, Azor and Tribenzor are prescription medications that treat high blood pressure. These medicines all contain, Olmesartan a medication that has been linked to 22 cases of sprue-like enteropathy.
According to the FDA, this rare gastro-intestinal disorder can cause symptoms that include severe and chronic diarrhea along with substantial weight loss. The conditions can take anywhere from a few months to years to develop and may require hospitalization. Researchers from The Mayo Clinic found that these 22 patients displayed symptoms suggestive of Celiac Disease. But when blood tests and a gluten-free diet didn’t support the diagnosis, researchers discontinued the use of the medication and the patients’ symptoms dramatically improved.
Since the Mayo Clinic’s research, reports from other centers and from individual patients have raised the total case count to more than 60.
If you’re taking Benicar, Benicar HCT, Azor or Tribenzor, and have noticed severe GI symptoms or substantial weight loss, you may want to discuss these side effects with your doctor.

Acyclovir – Side Effects, Uses, Mechanism of Action, Dosage, Interactions, Warnings
Acyclovir, marketed under brand names like Zovirax and Sitavig, is a widely prescribed antiviral medication recognized for its efficacy against various herpes simplex virus (HSV) infections, including genital herpes, cold sores, and shingles. Its mechanism of action involves a two-step phosphorylation process leading to the formation of acyclovir triphosphate, which selectively inhibits viral DNA polymerase, thereby impeding DNA synthesis and replication. This targeted approach minimizes damage to healthy cells, making acyclovir a potent antiviral agent specifically tailored to combat herpesvirus infections.
The uses of acyclovir extend beyond treating active infections to include preventive measures in immunocompromised individuals and management of conditions like neonatal herpes infections and herpes simplex encephalitis. Despite its effectiveness, acyclovir can induce various side effects ranging from gastrointestinal discomfort and headaches to rare but severe complications such as renal dysfunction and neurological effects. Dosage adjustments are necessary, especially in patients with renal impairment, and careful monitoring is warranted to prevent toxicity. Additionally, caution is advised regarding potential drug interactions, allergic reactions, and special considerations during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Vigilant monitoring and adherence to dosage guidelines ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes while minimizing risks associated with acyclovir therapy.
