I Noah Thomas, the creator of this channel, have been diagnosed hypogonadism by a medical doctor and legally prescribed the medically indicated treatment of Testosterone Replacement Therapy.

My Story

My name is Noah and on May 18 2011, I had a rare reaction to a medication called VIVITROL and consequently, spiraled into a suicidal depression with depersonalization and anxiety. I lost 25 lbs in 4 weeks and was in full panic or near panic for 8 weeks straight mixed with the darkest most painful depression I cold have ever imagined. I immediately could not work and had to move in with my parents who, along with many siblings and friends, had to watch me 24/7 as I was a danger to myself. Eventually I was hospitalized in the Psych Ward for a week. Getting through each day seemed truly unbearable and I knew I would surely die. I have been put on many many different doctor prescribed SSRI's SNRI's Tricyclics, mood stabilizers, anti-psychotics, holistic meds, acupuncture and even a form of shock therapy called RTMS. I barely saw any improvement in my condition for a full year. It was decided I had treatment resistant depression and I spent nearly every moment in tears. Weeks after starting my newest round of medications (Seroquel & Nortryptaline) as a last ditch effort, I had my blood drawn for possible hormone imbalances and my Testosterone levels came back 200 ng/Dl and 150 ng/Dl. The average 25 year old male has 750 ng/Dl. With this discovery I had an explanation as to why I was not getting better and why I might be so so sick. The symptoms of Low T are very similar to those of major depression. I started legally prescribed testosterone replacement therapy soon after and have been checking in with the world and documenting my experience with treatment as well as giving my insight and perspective on various topics of mental health. I am blessed to say that I have slowly, over the last 6 years, been improving and becoming more stable which I never thought to be possible. My low T manifested itself in the form of Major depression, anxiety, and depersonalization/ derealization for over a year. Treating my low testosterone has been 1 HUGE part of the puzzle but I have had to continue to work hard to hold on to my mental stability with many set backs. Gaining some mental stability back is nothing short of a miracle as I was near death for what felt like forever. I do not consider myself to be totally healed yet but I am closer now then ever before and aim to use what I have been through to help or at least offer support to others in need I was able to successfully come off my Seroquel and Pamelor.

I work out all the time as a part of my mental health recovery!!! Weight training and all kinds of cardio rule much of my free time and I also share this on my channel.

Klonopin Withdrawal
Klonopin Withdrawal Side Effects 3 Views • 5 months ago

Klonopin Withdrawal

Quitting benzodiazepines, including Klonopin, is not generally considered life-threatening and won’t usually cause permanent harm. However, it can still be uncomfortable enough to make quitting difficult without the help of a doctor.

If you quit Klonopin after becoming physically dependent, you may experience the following symptoms:

Anxiety
Appetite loss
Irritability
Muscle aches
Nausea
Tiredness
Trouble sleeping and resting

In rare cases, suddenly quitting benzodiazepines has been associated with temporary psychosis and delirium, where a person may have a mental break from reality, hallucinating and acting irrationally. This phenomenon isn’t fully understood but seems to be fairly rare. This situation should be treated as a medical emergency, less so because it is directly life-threatening and more so because a person might endanger themselves or others while in this state as a result of their confusion and irrational emotional state.

KETOROLAC tablet, ketorolac 10 mg, ketorolac 20 mg
KETOROLAC tablet, ketorolac 10 mg, ketorolac 20 mg Side Effects 3 Views • 5 months ago

What is Ketorolac and what is it used for?

Ketorolac is in a class of medications called NSAIDs. It works by stopping the body's production of a substance that causes pain, fever, and inflammation.

Ketorolac is used to relieve moderately severe pain, usually after surgery.

How to use Ketorolac?

Ketorolac comes as a tablet to take by mouth. It is usually taken every 4 to 6 hours on a schedule or as needed for pain.
If you are taking ketorolac on a schedule, take it at around the same times every day.
Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand.

When to take ketorolac?

Before taking ketorolac:

tell your doctor if you are taking pentoxifylline (Pentoxil) or probenecid (Probalan, in Col-Probenecid). Your doctor will probably tell you not to take ketorolac if you are taking one or more of these medications.

tell your doctor and pharmacist what prescription and nonprescription medications, vitamins, nutritional supplements, and herbal products you are taking or plan to take.
Be sure to mention the medications listed: antidepressants; angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors such as benazepril (Lotensin, in Lotrel), captopril, enalapril (Vasotec, in Vaseretic), fosinopril, lisinopril (in Zestoretic), moexipril (Univasc), perindopril (Aceon, in Prestalia), quinapril (Accupril, in Quinaretic), ramipril (Altace), and trandolapril (Mavik, in Tarka); angiotensin receptor blockers such as candesartan (Atacand, in Atacand HCT), eprosartan (Teveten), irbesartan (Avapro, in Avalide), losartan (Cozaar, in Hyzaar), olmesartan (Benicar, in Azor, in Benicar HCT, in Tribenzor), telmisartan (Micardis, in Micardis HCT, in Twynsta), and valsartan (in Exforge HCT); beta blockers such as atenolol (Tenormin, in Tenoretic), labetalol (Trandate), metoprolol (Lopressor, Toprol XL, in Dutoprol), nadolol (Corgard, in Corzide), and propranolol (Hemangeol, Inderal, InnoPran); medications for anxiety or mental illness; medications for seizures such as carbamazepine (Epitol, Tegretol, Teril, others) or phenytoin (Dilantin, Phenytek); methotrexate (Otrexup, Rasuvo, Trexall); sedatives; sleeping pills; and tranquilizers. Your doctor may need to change the doses of your medications or monitor you more carefully for side effects.

tell your doctor if you are pregnant, plan to become pregnant; or are breast-feeding. Ketorolac may harm the fetus and cause problems with delivery if it is taken around 20 weeks or later during pregnancy.
Do not take ketorolac around or after 20 weeks of pregnancy, unless you are told to do so by your doctor. If you become pregnant while taking ketorolac, call your doctor.

talk to your doctor about the risks and benefits of taking ketorolac if you are 65 years of age or older. Older adults should not usually take ketorolac because it is not as safe as other medications that can be used to treat the same condition.

you should know that this medication may make you drowsy or dizzy. Do not drive a car or operate machinery until you know how this medication affects you.

talk to your doctor about the safe use of alcohol while taking this medication. Alcohol can make the side effects of ketorolac worse.

What special dietary instructions should I follow?

Unless your doctor tells you otherwise, continue your normal diet.

What side effects can Ketorolac cause?

Ketorolac may cause side effects. Tell your doctor if any of these symptoms are severe or do not go away:

headache.
dizziness.
drowsiness.
diarrhea.
constipation.
gas.
sores in the mouth.
sweating.

Some side effects can be serious. If you experience any of the following symptoms, call your doctor immediately. Do not take any more ketorolac until you speak to your doctor.

fever.
blisters.
unexplained weight gain.
shortness of breath or difficulty breathing.
swelling in the abdomen, ankles, feet, or legs.
yellowing of the skin or eyes.
excessive tiredness.
unusual bleeding or bruising.
lack of energy.
nausea.
loss of appetite.
pain in the upper right part of the stomach.
flu-like symptoms.
pale skin.
fast heartbeat.
cloudy, discolored, or bloody urine.
back pain.
difficult or painful urination.

Ketorolac may cause other side effects.
Call your doctor if you have any unusual problems while taking this medication.

How do Ketorolac 10mg Tablets work?
How do Ketorolac 10mg Tablets work? Side Effects 3 Views • 5 months ago

How do Ketorolac 10mg Tablets work? Ketorolac 10mg Tablets work by blocking the production of prostaglandins, which are chemicals in the body that cause inflammation and pain. By inhibiting the production of these chemicals, Ketorolac 10mg Tablets can help reduce pain, swelling, and fever. Unlike other pain relievers, Ketorolac 10mg Tablets are not opioids and do not have the risk of addiction or abuse.
The medication is available in tablet form and can be taken orally. It is quickly absorbed into the bloodstream and begins to work within 30-60 minutes. The effects of Ketorolac 10mg Tablets can last up to 6 hours, making it an effective option for those who need long-lasting pain relief.
Ketorolac 10mg Tablets are used to treat a variety of conditions, including pain from surgery, dental procedures, and menstrual cramps. It is also effective in treating pain from injury, arthritis, and migraines.
Benefits of Ketorolac 10mg Tablets.
One of the biggest benefits of Ketorolac 10mg Tablets is its fast-acting formula. Unlike other pain relievers that can take hours to start working, Ketorolac 10mg Tablets can begin to alleviate pain within 30-60 minutes. This makes it an ideal option for those who need quick relief from pain.
Another benefit of Ketorolac 10mg Tablets is its long-lasting effects. The medication can provide pain relief for up to 6 hours, which means fewer doses are needed throughout the day. This is especially beneficial for those who have busy schedules and cannot afford to take time out of their day to take medication.
Ketorolac 10mg Tablets are also non-addictive and have a low risk of abuse. Unlike opioids, which can be highly addictive and have a high risk of abuse, Ketorolac 10mg Tablets do not produce a euphoric high and do not have the potential for abuse.
Dosage and administration of Ketorolac 10mg Tablets.
Ketorolac 10mg Tablets are available in tablet form and are taken orally. The tablets should be taken with a full glass of water and can be taken with or without food. It is important to follow the dosage instructions provided by your healthcare provider.
The recommended dose of Ketorolac 10mg Tablets for adults is 10mg every 4-6 hours, not to exceed 40mg in a 24-hour period. For geriatric patients, the recommended dose is 10mg every 6 hours. For those with moderate to severe renal impairment, the recommended dose is 10mg every 6-8 hours.
It is important not to exceed the recommended dose of Ketorolac 10mg Tablets, as this can lead to serious side effects. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule.
Precautions and warnings when taking Ketorolac 10mg Tablets.
Ketorolac 10mg Tablets should not be taken by those who are allergic to ketorolac or other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). The medication should also not be taken by those who have a history of asthma, hives, or other allergic reactions to aspirin or other NSAIDs.
Ketorolac 10mg Tablets should not be used in the treatment of peri-operative pain in the setting of coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery. The medication should also not be used in patients with advanced renal impairment or in patients at risk for renal failure due to volume depletion.
It is important to let your healthcare provider know if you have any underlying medical conditions, such as high blood pressure, heart disease, or liver disease, as these conditions can increase the risk of side effects when taking Ketorolac 10mg Tablets.
Side effects of Ketorolac 10mg Tablets.
Like all medications, Ketorolac 10mg Tablets can cause side effects. The most common side effects of Ketorolac 10mg Tablets include nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, and diarrhea. These side effects are usually mild and go away on their own within a few days.
Less common side effects of Ketorolac 10mg Tablets include dizziness, headache, and drowsiness. These side effects are usually mild and go away on their own within a few days. However, if you experience any severe or persistent side effects, it is important to contact your healthcare provider immediately.

What is KETOCONAZOLE (Nizoral)? What is Ketoconazole used for? Side Effects, Uses and Warnings! Side Effects 3 Views • 5 months ago

What is Ketoconazole? What is ketoconazole used for?

Ketoconazole, also known as Nizoral, is a medication prescribed for treating fungal infections. It comes in several forms: a 200-mg oral white tablet, a white topical cream for skin application, and a red-orange liquid shampoo for scalp use, particularly for managing dandruff.

Potential Adverse Reactions to Ketoconazole

Specific to the shampoo:

Loss of perm-induced curls
Hair thinning or shedding
Drying of the skin
Skin irritation

Specific to the topical cream:

Ketoconazole cream

Skin irritation
Itchy sensation
Burning feeling
Scalp irritation

Specific to the oral tablets:
Early onset side effects:

Feelings of nausea and vomiting
Upset stomach

Later onset side effects (usually after more than one day of treatment):

Constipation
Loose stools or diarrhea
Temporary liver function changes
Elevated blood pressure
Itchy skin
Skin rashes
Dizziness
Headaches
Enlarged breasts and breast soreness, particularly in males

These are common side effects, but others may occur. All side effects should be reported to your healthcare provider.

Guidance for Ketoconazole Usage

If you experience stomach discomfort, take ketoconazole with food. Regular blood tests will be conducted to monitor liver function. If you notice unusual tiredness, nausea and vomiting, loss of appetite, yellowing of the eyes or skin, dark-colored urine, or pale stools, inform your doctor immediately as these could indicate serious liver issues.

Ketoconazole can interact with various medications, altering their effectiveness. These include oral diabetic medications, warfarin, phenytoin, immunosuppressants (cyclosporine, sirolimus, tacrolimus), digoxin, midazolam, theophylline, methylprednisolone, and certain chemotherapy drugs like vincristine, etoposide, daunorubicin, doxorubicin, idarubicin, mitoxantrone, ifosfamide, and cyclophosphamide. Additionally, certain drugs can influence ketoconazole's effectiveness, such as antacids, ranitidine, famotidine, sucralfate, isoniazid, and rifampin.

Always inform your healthcare provider of all medications you're taking, including over-the-counter drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements. Check with your healthcare provider before starting any new medication while on ketoconazole.

If using the shampoo, avoid eye contact, apply it to damp skin of the affected and surrounding areas, lather, leave it for 5 minutes, and then rinse thoroughly with water.
