Mom's life insurance policy was not near enough to cover her funeral services. And we believe she was given a medication that caused this to happen to our mom. We are speaking with attorneys to get a case started on this A.S.A.P. We will need all the help we can get to get this underway. From the moment she took that pill, She was very sick and got worse every day, She had me do some research on the meds given to her, I found out that there were so many bad side effects to this medicine, that no one in their right mind would take this stuff if they were told of the side effects, which of course, they did not inform her of. one of them being the loss of oxygen... why would any dr. give that to someone with COPD? It wasn't even her Dr. that prescribed it to her, she was off that day, and not only did they prescribe it, but they also gave her the highest dosage of this so-called medicine called Alendronate Sodium Tablets, 70mg, when she is sensitive to most meds. they could have started her on 5mg. I told her not to take it, she said she already did. So we made an appointment to try and have that stuff removed from her system, but she didn't make it that long. She woke up with very low oxygen on that day she went down and never recovered from it, and suffered severe brain damage. We were forced to let our Mom go because she could not live for long without life support. Therefore we are filing a wrongful death or malpractice suit against the doctors that prescribed this garbage to my Mom. Although I am embarrassed to ask, Any help would be appreciated. If anyone wants to do any research on this drug, so that this doesn't happen to you or a loved one, it's called Alendronate Sodium Tablets, 70mg. Side Effects

What to do if Experiencing Serious Side Effects From Fosamax - NY Attorney Michael Werner explains more at: https://www.yourlawyer.com/def....ective-drug-attorney
Watch as Florda attorney Michael Werner of Parker Waichman discusses how recent information has come to light showing that the prescription drug Fosamax is not as effective as once thought.
Fosamax is a drug in the medical class of bisphosphonates. Bisphosphonates help treat and prevent bone loss in patients. But, according to reports, the drug is doing severe damage to the bones instead. The drug has been linked to numerous cases of jawbone disease, esophageal cancer, and atypical arrhythmia. The FDA even asked the manufacturers to put a warning on the drug's label recognizing the risk of a certain type of fracture, atypical femur fractures which mean the bones were broken without trauma or accident.
These bones were breaking with every day activity such as getting out of a car or walking to the mailbox. After further testing, the FDA also announced that according to their studies the drug did not have any effectiveness after a 3 year period. With millions of women prescribed this drug every year, there is a huge potential risk of not only severe injuries but of no actual medical benefit. Watch this video now to learn more.

At the American College of Rheumatology Annual Meeting, Machelle Manuel, PhD, vice president of medical scientific affairs at Ironwood Pharmaceuticals, discussed study findings that analyzed physician, patient and treatment characteristics related to patients with gout treated with allopurinol. The study also determined the proportion of patients who reached their serum uric acid target by allopurinol dose.
According to Manuel, although allopurinol is approved for up to 800 mg in the United States, and 900 mg in the European Union, most patients were treated with 300 mg or less per day. Further, less than 50% of patients achieved the serum uric acid target of less than 6 mg/dL at any dose of allopurinol, and that those receiving higher doses were not more likely to reach that target.

PHARMACIST Fi shares the very clever way allopurinol works to reduce uric acid level for people with gout (if it is suitable for them), then shares 5 ways to try to achieve allopurinol treatment success and minimize risk of rare potentially serious side effects ('rare' meaning that less than 1 in 1000 people who take allopurinol get a serious drug reaction).
Here is the link to the playlist of PHARMACIST Fi videos about gout, and gout treatment medicines which may or may not be prescribed (depending on a person's other medical conditions, other medicines, and kidney and liver function levels): https://www.youtube.com/playli....st?list=PLwyYRbsDY3j
Please note that the next paragraphs (below this paragraph) are for doctors, so if you are a person with gout who is taking allopurinol: DON'T make any changes to your allopurinol dose unless you have been advised to do so by your doctor, because sudden increases OR decreases in allopurinol dose may trigger gout attacks (also called gout flares) in some people during the early months of allopurinol treatment when urate crystals are still being melted (but you are welcome to give the information below to your doctor, so they can discuss it with you and consider whether or not it might be relevant to your allopurinol dose schedule).
INFO FOR DOCTORS
If you are a doctor, you might find the following info interesting:
In recent years, new dose schedules for the urate-lowering medicine allopurinol are in prescribing guidelines for doctors in places like Australia.
On 18 March 2023, one of the dose schedule options in Australia's Therapeutic Guidelines is (if allopurinol is considered suitable for a particular person with gout who has no kidney problems):
*start the person with gout on allopurinol 50mg once daily for 4 weeks,
*then increase the person's daily dose by 50mg each fortnight or month (depending on their tendency to gout flares) until the person's uric acid level reaches target treatment level for their particular gout presentation (e.g. less than 0.36mmol/L (less than 6mg/dL) if the person has no tophi, or less than 0.3mmol/L (less than 5mg/dL) if the person has any tophi). Please note: this schedule is for people without kidney impairment; lower start dose and slower dose increases with close kidney monitoring are used for people with significant kidney impairment (please see Australian Medicines Handbook 2023 for details).
During this gradual allopurinol dose-increasing process, the Australian Medicines Handbook 2023 recommends serum uric acid testing every 2 to 5 weeks.
It is hoped that by starting with a lower allopurinol dose, then increasing the allopurinol dose less often and by smaller amounts (until serum uric acid target is reached), this modern allopurinol dose schedule may reduce risk of gout flares early in urate-lowering therapy with allopurinol (via smaller uric acid level changes), and also reduce risk of rare, serious potential side effects like allopurinol hypersensitivity syndrome. However, even with this modern allopurinol dose schedule, it is still currently recommended that the person with gout also take an anti-inflammatory medicine to prevent gout flares (if suitable for their medical conditions, kidney & liver function, & medicines; e.g. colchicine or NSAID, if suitable) during the early phase of allopurinol treatment when their uric acid level is changing and urate crystals have not yet been completely dissolved.
When allopurinol's dose has been gradually increased enough to enable a person with gout's serum uric acid level to decrease down to the 'target level' and stay there consistently, allopurinol is then continued at that dose (the 'maintenance dose' for that person), with blood tests once or twice per year to check whether that dose is keeping their serum uric acid level consistently at target level, or whether any dose adjustment might be needed (for example, if the person's usual drinks & foods or kidney function have changed since the last uric acid blood test, these factors might potentially change their uric acid level - especially if they have slower uric acid transporters in their kidneys or intestines [due to genetics] making them slower to get rid of uric acid than other people).

In this video Doctor O'Donovan explains how to use COLCHICINE (aka Colcrys/Gloperba/Mitigare) to TREAT AND PREVENT GOUT.
In this video we cover:
00:00 - Introduction
00:31 - What is Colchicine Used for
01:05 - How does Colchicine work
01:14 - Who can and can't take it Colchicine
01.55 - Common Doses of Colchicine
03:05 - Side effects
04:00 - Interactions with other medications
NHS Information:
Colchicine is a medicine for treating inflammation and pain. It works by reducing the inflammation caused by the crystals of uric acid that build up in your joints when you have gout. This also helps to reduce pain.
It can be used to:
- Treat gout
- Prevent gout from coming back when you first start on long-term medicines like allopurinol
- Prevent symptoms of familial Mediterranean fever (FMF), an inherited inflammatory condition.
Gout is a type of arthritis that causes sudden, severe joint pain. See a GP for treatment to help during an attack and to stop further attacks.
Colchicine is available on prescription. It comes as tablets.
Key facts
1. Colchicine starts to work after around 30 minutes to 2 hours, but it may take a day or two for your pain to start to get better.
2. It's important to stick to your prescribed dose. Taking even a little bit more can be very serious.
3. Avoid grapefruit and grapefruit juice while taking colchicine. It can increase the amount of colchicine in your body.
4. Taking colchicine with or after food may be easier on your stomach.
5. Drinking too much alcohol can increase the level of uric acid in your blood. This could make your gout worse.

Replace gout medicine, like Colchicine, Allopurinol, Indomethacin by medicinal gout herbs. http://www.acutegouttreatment.com
And get your life back!
People suffering from gouty arthritis, also known as gout, the gout, gouts or tophaceous gout take Colchicine and Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAI) drugs like indomethacin as a first-line treatment for acute gouty arthritis attacks. In order to suppress inflammation and to tackle pain.
Allopurinol, Febuxostat, and Pegloticase are normally prescribed for controlling elevated uric acid levels, but they don’t tackle the cause of the high uric acid levels.
The problem with all these medicine (Colchicine, Allopurinol, Indomethacin, Indocid, etc.) is that they don't cure gout.
Opposite, due to the bad side effects for liver and kidneys, they make your gout disease worse. People get real sick of them; people die from these prescription medicines. Yes, Colchicine, Indomethacin and Allopurinol are toxic and have resulted in fatalities. Colchicine poisoning is comparable to arsenic poisoning.
In the video we show sudden death rates for Allopurinol.
A low purine diet in order to lower serum purines does not work either in order to control uric acid levels.
The goal is to lower uric acid levels to 4.5 mg/dl or lower.
All the tophi people get with tophaceous gout will start to dissolve quickly at such low levels.
In this video, we show a safe, natural, alternative got treatment.
We show graphics, proving that our natural medicinal gout herbs are more effective lowering uric acid levels as Allopurinol.
We explain in detail the ingredients of the different natural gout herbs.
Gout is a terrible disease, but with help of our gouty arthritis herbs, you don't have to worry any more about the purines in your food,
And about the bad side effects (Stevens Johnson Syndrome, etc.) of the prescription medicine, like colchicine, allopurinol and indomethacin.
