Urine infections are incredibly common.
So common that more than one of my patients asked me to do a video on this topic!
Anyone can get urine infections but they're most common in women with most women experiencing one in their lifetime.
The symptoms of a urinary infection (or UTI) are usually pretty obvious - peeing more than usual and with "urgency", burning and stinging when you pee and sometimes tummy pain or blood in the urine.
There are a few things that increase the risk of UTIs, like pregnancy, menopause and diabetes but either way, they're usually straightforward to spot and can be managed remotely most of the time.
Some UTIs improve with time and no treatment other than water and rest but most need antibiotics as bacteria is the usual culprit. Other over the counter treatments and home remedies are not evidence based (ie there is not enough evidence to definitely recommend them) but most are safe to try if you want to give it a go.
UTIs improve quickly but if you notice that it doesnt, or you have new symptoms or feel unwell with the urinary symptoms, you need to see your doctor.

💊Nutranize Zone for Prednisone:
https://nutranize.com/product/prednisone/
Prednisone withdrawal can lead to uncomfortable and potentially hazardous symptoms due to a discrepancy between the medication dosage and the body's steroid levels. Sudden withdrawal poses risks like adrenal crisis, with symptoms resembling flu-like conditions. Management strategies include switching steroids, using diuretics, and considering supplements cautiously. Blood sugar and bone health are important aspects to monitor. A specific supplement, Nutranize Zone, can aid recovery. Tapering off prednisone should be done carefully with a healthcare provider's guidance, using a tapering schedule to manage the process safely.
Key Takeaways:
1. Withdrawal Challenges: Prednisone withdrawal can lead to significant and potentially hazardous symptoms due to a mismatch between medication dosage and the body's steroid levels, with risks like adrenal crisis and flu-like symptoms.
2. Management Strategies: Effective management of withdrawal symptoms may involve switching steroids, using diuretics to manage fluid retention, and considering supplements cautiously to address nutrient imbalances.
3. Blood Sugar and Bone Health: Monitoring blood sugar and bone health is crucial during withdrawal, with supplements like chromium picolinate and vitamin D playing important roles in managing these aspects.
4. Nutranize Zone: A specific supplement, Nutranize Zone, is designed to support individuals during prednisone use and withdrawal, providing essential nutrients to aid recovery and alleviate symptoms.
5. Tapering Off Prednisone: Tapering should be done carefully with a healthcare provider's guidance, using a tapering schedule to manage the process safely and effectively, aiming to reach the lowest effective dose before further reduction.
