What makes this drug special is its dual delayed release technology, meaning it is released in two phases in the stomach — allowing it to work over a longer period. This step-by-step release increases the effectiveness of the drug and provides long-lasting relief to patients.
✅ Benefits of Dexlansoprazole:
Long-term acid control – Works for up to 24 hours with just one dose
Once-daily dosing – No need to take it multiple times a day
Effective at night – Unlike some medications, it controls nighttime acid reflux too

Burning sensation in the chest, especially after eating or at bedtime
Bitter or sour taste due to acid rising in the throat
Sore throat, irritation
Difficulty swallowing
Pain in the lower throat or behind the chest
Hoarseness, nausea, or vomiting (sometimes with blood)
Sleep disturbances at night

⚠️ Common symptoms of ZES:
Burning pain in the upper or middle abdomen
Diarrhea due to malabsorption
Indigestion or poor digestion
Sour burping or reflux
Weight loss
Vomiting or vomiting blood
Black or tarry stool (bloody feces)
Dexlansoprazole is also used for:
Treating gastric ulcers
As part of combination therapy for H. pylori infection
Preventing gastric issues from long-term use of NSAIDs (painkillers)

✅✅Adderall (amphetamine, dextroamphetamine): Uses, Side Effects, Dosage, Drug Interactions #Adderall
✅Adderall ,amphetamine, dextroamphetamine,Adderall XR
✅Adderall is a prescription medication that contains amphetamine salts (amphetamine and dextroamphetamine) and is used for treating attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and narcolepsy.

Amphetamines stimulate the brain by increasing the level of neurotransmitters, dopamine, and norepinephrine, in the brain.

Neurotransmitters are chemicals produced by nerves that are released and attached to other nearby nerves as a means of communication among nerves.)

The exact mechanism of action in ADHD is unknown.

Adderall XR is an extended-release form of Adderall.

Adderall was approved by the FDA in 1996.

Side effects of amphetamines include excessive stimulation of the nervous system leading to:

nervousness,

restlessness,

excitability,

dizziness,

headache,

insomnia,

fear,

anxiety,

tremor,

hallucinations, and

convulsions (seizures).

Blood pressure and heart rate may increase, and patients may experience palpitations of the heart.

Other important side effects include:

Sudden death,

stroke,

heart attack,

depression,

manic episodes,

aggressive behavior or hostility,

psychosis,

growth suppression (long-term use),

dependence, and

withdrawal symptoms

Priapism, defined as a painful and nonpainful penile erection lasting more than 4 hours, has been reported in pediatric and adult patients treated with stimulants.

The erection usually resolves when the drug is stopped.

Prompt medical attention is required in the event of suspected priapism.

Adderall usually is taken once or twice a day.

Doses should be separated by at least 4-6 hours.

The recommended dose is 2.5 to 60 mg daily depending on the patient's age and the condition being treated.

Adderall XR is taken once daily.

The recommended dose is 5-40 mg daily administered in the morning.

The entire contents of the Adderall XR capsules may be sprinkled into applesauce and consumed immediately.

Administer amphetamines during waking hours and avoid late evening doses to avoid insomnia,,

Amphetamines should not be taken with monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) drugs including:

phenelzine (Nardil),

tranylcypromine (Parnate), and

Zyvox.

Avoid using amphetamines within 14 days of using MAOI drugs.

Patients receiving antihypertensive medications may experience loss of blood pressure control with amphetamines.

Antacids may increase the absorption of amphetamine salts and increase their effectiveness and side effects.

Do not use amphetamines during pregnancy. Infants who are born to mothers dependent on amphetamines exhibit symptoms of withdrawal and have an increased risk of low birth weight.

Mothers taking amphetamines should refrain from nursing their infants because these drugs are excreted in human milk and can have undesirable effects on the child. Abilify Methocarbamol

Thank you for tuning into my video today. Today I’m going to talk about Fluconazole. Fluconazole is a pharmaceutical antifungal drug. It’s also known by the name of Diflucan. Fluconazole is also present in a vaginal cream called Canesten that many women tend to use. I’ve seen many patients over the years who’ve taken Diflucan. Some with reasonably good success, but in most case, the drug has been taken recurrently with very, very poor long-term results.

The best result you’re going to get from any pharmaceutical drug usually is the very first time you take it. The body’s not used to the drug. It will have a powerful effect and give the desired result. But then what happens is the drug is discontinued, so then the symptoms come back, and the drug is used again and again and again. And eventually, the body builds resistance to Diflucan. The resistance is well documented.

I’ve seen some patients who take this drug weekly or monthly for years on end with bad results. And in many cases, they end up with significant side effects, particularly hepatic or liver side effects because Diflucan affects Phase II or the glucoronidation pathway of the liver and it can make a person quite nauseous or sick. They can get skin reactions. They can get headaches. They can get insomnia. They can get a whole range of different side effects from Diflucan.

I’ve got a pharmaceutical drug guide here and I’m going to read out some of the common side effects of Diflucan or fluconazole. Side effects include gastrointestinal upset, headaches, elevated liver function test, abnormal vision, skin odor, skin rashes, hot flashes, weakness, thirst, shaking in the body, polyuria, which means urinating a lot, renal pain or pain in the lower pain, kidney pain, dizziness, seizures, skin itching, sweating, fevers, drug eruptions, more skin rashes, sleeping disturbances and insomnia, nervousness, pain, female sexual dysfunction, menstrual disorders, respiratory disorders, deafness, heartburn, high blood pressure, liver damage. Why the hell would you want to take a drug that creates all these problems just to give you some temporary relief from a vaginal yeast infection or some kind of a yeast infection you might have? There are natural ways you can get on top of these infections without resorting to drugs.

Have a look at yeastinfection.org for some natural solutions. If you’re thinking about an antifungal drug and you want to get some results but don’t want the side effects with it, have a look at the product I developed called Canxida. It’s going to be more powerful than fluconazole. You don’t need to take it for years on end. You’re not going to get all of these side effects that I’ve just read out here. It’s certainly worth a shot.

Think about it. If you’re going to take fluconazole, take it once, but don’t take it recurrently. There’s no point in it. You’re wasting your time doing that. You’re only going to get drug resistance and also liver toxicity from taking it.

I hope that answers a frequently asked question I get on this particular drug fluconazole. Thank you for tuning in.

Digoxin Mechanism and Side Effects
Digoxin Mechanism and Side Effects Side Effects 2 Views • 5 months ago

Digoxin is a medication primarily used to treat certain heart conditions, particularly atrial fibrillation and congestive heart failure. It belongs to a class of drugs known as cardiac glycosides. Digoxin is derived from the foxglove plant (Digitalis purpurea) and has been used for centuries in the treatment of various heart-related ailments.

Here are some key points about Digoxin:

1. Mechanism of Action: Digoxin works by increasing the strength and efficiency of heart contractions. It does this by inhibiting the sodium-potassium pump in the heart, leading to an increase in intracellular calcium levels. This elevated calcium concentration improves the heart's contractility.

2. Indications: Digoxin is commonly prescribed for the treatment of atrial fibrillation and congestive heart failure. In atrial fibrillation, it can help control the heart rate by slowing down electrical conduction in the atrioventricular node. In congestive heart failure, it can improve cardiac output and reduce symptoms of heart failure.

3. Dosage: The appropriate dose of digoxin can vary depending on a person's age, weight, and specific medical condition. It's crucial to take this medication exactly as prescribed by a healthcare provider. Regular blood tests may be necessary to monitor digoxin levels, as the drug has a narrow therapeutic window, meaning that too much can be toxic.

4. Side Effects: Common side effects of digoxin include nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, and changes in vision (such as blurred or yellow-tinted vision). These symptoms may be indicative of digoxin toxicity. Severe toxicity can lead to life-threatening arrhythmias or other cardiac problems.

5. Interactions: Digoxin can interact with several other medications, potentially affecting its effectiveness or increasing the risk of side effects. It's essential to inform your healthcare provider of all the medications, including over-the-counter drugs and supplements, that you are taking.

6. Precautions: Digoxin should be used with caution in people with certain medical conditions, such as kidney problems or electrolyte imbalances. It is generally not recommended during pregnancy unless the benefits outweigh the risks.

7. Monitoring: Regular monitoring of heart rate and digoxin blood levels is essential while taking this medication. In some cases, an electrocardiogram (ECG) may be performed to assess heart function.

8. Toxicity: Digoxin toxicity can be life-threatening and may result from an overdose or impaired clearance of the drug. Symptoms of toxicity include severe nausea, vomiting, confusion, dizziness, and irregular heart rhythms. If you experience any of these symptoms, seek medical attention immediately.

9. Alternative Treatments: While digoxin has been used for many years, there are alternative medications available for the treatment of atrial fibrillation and congestive heart failure. Healthcare providers will consider various factors when choosing the most appropriate treatment for an individual.

It's crucial to use digoxin only under the supervision and guidance of a healthcare provider, as it requires careful monitoring to ensure its safe and effective use. If you or someone you know is prescribed digoxin, make sure to follow the prescribed dosage and seek medical attention if you experience any concerning side effects or symptoms of toxicity.
