Dangerous Side Effects

In this video we will cover everything you need to know about Tetracycline, also known as Ala-Tet, Brodspec or Panmycin.
Generic name: Tetracycline.
Brand names: Ala-Tet, Brodspec or Panmycin.
Available as a capsule, oral suspension, ointment, cream and drops.
How to use it?
- Capsule: swallow the capsule whole with half a glass of water, preferably on an empty stomach.
- Oral suspension: first shake the bottle, afterwards measure the right dose with a syringe or measuring spoon. The oral suspension is mostly used to treat sores in the mouth, therefore hold the liquid in your mouth for 5 minutes. Then spit it out. Do not swallow the oral suspension.
- Cream/Ointment: first clean the infected areas, remove crusts by soaking them in baby oil. Afterwards apply the ointment or cream thinly. If needed you can cover this area with a sterile bandage.
- Drops: Clean your hands, remove any crusts around your eyelids, go stand before a mirror, gently pull down your lower eyelid, bend your head backwards, place the tube above your lower eyelid, squeeze it so the drops will fall into your lower eyelid and than blink a few times.
When to use it?
Tetracycline is an antibiotic which can inhibit the replication of certain bacteria. It can be used to treat infections by microorganisms sensitive to tetracycline, such as infections of:
- The respiratory tract, like a pneumonia.
- Infections of someone's urogenital tract, like STI’s or an urinary tract infection.
- Infections of the skin, like acne.
- Gastrointestinal infections.
- Eye infections.
What is the correct dosage?
The precise dose will depend on your specific indication of use, the side effect you might experience and the severity of your symptoms. Therefore always use the precise amount and frequency your doctor prescribed you.
- However, when treating most infections your doctor will prescribe a capsule of tetracycline of 250mg 4 times a day, which can be increase to a maximum dose of 2 gram per day.
- For eye infections your doctor might prescribe drops: 6 drops/day dripped into your lower eyelids. This dose can be increase up to 1 drop every hour.
- For skin infections your doctor might prescribe you to apply a thin layer of ointment or cream to the affected skin 2–3×/day.
What are common the side-effects?
Skin reactions, rash, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, inflammation of your stomach, itching, liver damage, abnormalities in blood values, burning sensation of the eyes, irritation and pain.
Safety:
First of all there are no limitations for this drug regarding the usage of alcohol or driving a car.
However, it is important you do not consume milk or milk products, such as cheese or yogurt, 2 hours before to 1 hour after taking tetracycline as a capsule. As the lime in these products decreases the effectivity of tetracycline.
Furthermore, tetracycline can have interactions with other drugs your are taking. Always discuss this with your prescribing doctor.
Here it is important to mention that tetracycline can be dangerous for you and your unborn baby during pregnancy. Therefore its use is often strongly discouraged, especially when using capsules.
When breastfeeding tetracycline can often be used safely for a short period (less than 3 weeks). However avoid prolonged use. Always discuss this with your personal doctor.

Is It Safe To Drive After Taking Temazepam? In this informative video, we will discuss the safety concerns associated with driving after taking temazepam, a widely prescribed sedative for insomnia and sleep disorders. We will explore how this medication affects the central nervous system, leading to sedation and potential impairment. Understanding the side effects of temazepam is essential for anyone considering driving after use, as drowsiness, dizziness, and impaired coordination can pose serious risks on the road.
We will also address the phenomenon of "sleep-driving," a dangerous occurrence where individuals may operate a vehicle without full awareness, often with no memory of the event afterward. Additionally, we will highlight the "hangover effect," which can leave you feeling sedated the following day, further increasing the risk of accidents.
Combining temazepam with other depressants, such as alcohol or opioids, can heighten these dangers, making it crucial to avoid mixing substances. Older adults should be particularly wary due to their increased risk of falls and fractures.
For those taking temazepam, following your healthcare provider's guidance is vital. We encourage viewers to prioritize their safety and the safety of others on the road. If you have any concerns about your medication, consult your healthcare provider for tailored advice.

Bisoprolol (2.5mg) + Telmisartan (40mg)
Bisot-2.5 Tablet is an antihypertensive medicine used to treat hypertension. Hypertension or high blood pressure is a chronic condition in which the force exerted by the blood against the artery wall is high. As a result, it leads to heart problems, irregular heartbeat, and other complications.
Bisot-2.5 Tablet contains Bisoprolol and telmisartan. Bisoprolol is a beta blocker that acts directly on the heart to lower blood pressure and heart rate. Telmisartan is an angiotensin receptor blockers (ARBs). It relaxes blood vessels by inhibiting the angiotensin hormone. When combined, they improve the heart's pumping efficiency and blood flow.
Bisot-2.5 Tablet may cause certain side effects like headache, feeling exhausted, sore back, diarrhoea, congested feeling, and swollen ankles that usually resolve after some time. Prolonged intake of Bisot-2.5 Tablet may lead to a lowering of blood pressure. Take Bisot-2.5 Tablet as prescribed by your doctor.
Do not take Bisot-2.5 Tablet if you are allergic to it. Inform your doctor about your medical history and current medication, including herbs and supplements, before starting the treatment with Bisot-2.5 Tablet . This can help reduce side effects/interactions. Let your doctor know if you are pregnant or planning pregnancy, are breastfeeding, have liver disease, kidney disease, heart failure, diabetes, heart valve problem or heart attack beforehand.

Amlodipine+telmisartan belongs to the class of anti-hypertensive drugs, primarily used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). Hypertension is a medical condition in which blood pressure is elevated persistently in the arteries. It is considered an essential risk factor for cardiovascular diseases. Amlodipine+telmisartan lowers blood pressure by widening and relaxing blood vessels.
Amlodipine+telmisartan is a fixed-dose combination composed of two medicines, namely, Telmisartan and Amlodipine. Telmisartan belongs to a group of drugs called angiotensin II receptor antagonists. It lowers blood pressure and increases blood flow by preventing the narrowing of blood vessels. It is used to lower the chances of stroke, heart attack, and death. Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker that dilates (widens) blood vessels and increases blood flow. Altogether, it helps to lower high blood pressure, chest pain (angina), and other conditions caused by coronary artery disease.
Amlodipine+telmisartan is available in the form of oral tablets. Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water. You can take Amlodipine+telmisartan with or without food once a time in a day, as prescribed by the doctor. Do not crush, chew, or break it. Your doctor will decide the dosage based on your medical condition. In some cases, Amlodipine+telmisartan can cause side effects, primarily peripheral oedema (swelling in legs and arms), a common cold, backache, diarrhoea, dizziness, drowsiness, confusion, rashes, and weakness.

Telmikind-CT 40/6.25 Tablet 10's belongs to the class of anti-hypertensives primarily taken to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). Hypertension or high blood pressure is a life-long or chronic condition in which the blood pressure against the artery wall becomes too high. It can lead to the risk of heart diseases, like heart attack and stroke.
Telmikind-CT 40/6.25 Tablet 10's is a combination of Telmisartan (angiotensin II receptor antagonist) and Chlorthalidone (thiazide diuretic or water pill). Telmisartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker that helps to relax and widen the blood vessels (arteries). Chlorthalidone is a diuretic that prevents absorption of excess salt in the body, preventing fluid retention. Together it lowers blood pressure and prevents the risk of any future stroke, heart attack, and oedema (fluid retention).
You can take Telmikind-CT 40/6.25 Tablet 10's with food or an empty stomach. It should be swallowed whole with a glass of water. Your doctor will advise you on how often you take your tablets based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience dizziness, feeling tired, skin ulcers, diarrhoea, nausea diarrhoea, back pain, and cold/flu symptoms. Most of these side effects of Telmikind-CT 40/6.25 Tablet 10's do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.
Do not use potassium supplements or salt substitutes unless the doctor has told you. In rare cases, Telmikind-CT 40/6.25 Tablet 10's can cause a condition that results in a skeletal muscle problem, leading to further kidney failure. If you notice unexplained muscle pain, dark colour urine, tenderness, or weakness, especially if you also have a fever or unexplained tiredness, immediately contact the doctor. If you suspect pregnancy while taking Telmikind-CT 40/6.25 Tablet 10's, tell your doctor right away. Telmikind-CT 40/6.25 Tablet 10's should not be taken if you are breastfeeding as Telmikind-CT 40/6.25 Tablet 10's can pass into breast milk, so before starting Telmikind-CT 40/6.25 Tablet 10's, you need to stop nursing or do not take Telmikind-CT 40/6.25 Tablet 10's while breastfeeding. Besides this, you should not use the Telmikind-CT 40/6.25 Tablet 10's if you are unable to urinate. If you have diabetes, do not use Telmikind-CT 40/6.25 Tablet 10's with any medication that contains aliskiren (a blood pressure medicine). Before taking Telmikind-CT 40/6.25 Tablet 10's, tell your doctor if you have ever had liver disease, kidney failure, glaucoma (increased eye pressure), high or low levels of magnesium or potassium in your blood, have allergies or asthma, lupus (an autoimmune disease), diabetes, or an allergy to penicillin or sulfa drugs.
