Does Cilostazol Relieve Leg Pain? If you're experiencing leg pain, especially during activities like walking, understanding treatment options can be essential. In this informative video, we will discuss Cilostazol, a medication commonly prescribed for Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD). PAD is a condition where narrowed arteries reduce blood flow to the legs, leading to pain known as intermittent claudication.
We will explain how Cilostazol works to improve blood flow by targeting specific enzymes in the body. This medication can help alleviate pain, allowing individuals to walk longer distances with less discomfort. While Cilostazol does not cure PAD, it plays an important role in managing its symptoms, which can significantly enhance mobility and overall quality of life.
Additionally, we will touch on the benefits of Cilostazol in improving lipid profiles, which can further support cardiovascular health for those at risk. It’s vital to consult with a healthcare professional before starting any new medication, as they can guide you on the appropriate dosage and monitor for side effects.
Join us in this discussion to learn more about how Cilostazol may be a helpful option for managing leg pain related to PAD. Don’t forget to subscribe to our channel for more informative content on cardiology topics!

https://www.youtube.com/playli....st?list=PLaG3Bo3L0gX
Generic name: Citalopram.
Brand names: Celexa and Cipramil.

When using it as a drink: add some drops in half a glass of water and drink it. DO NOT mix these drops with tea or milk.

Usually your doctor starts with a low dose and quickly builds it up over a few days. Afterwards your maintenance dose will be adapted throughout your treatment based on the blood levels of Citalopram you will be having.
Therefore always use the prescribed dose and frequency your doctor gave you.
What are the side-effects?

Safety:
You should be careful to combine Citalopram with alcohol. As this might increase the dazing effect of this drug.
In addition it is usually safe to drive while using Citalopram, however it can cause you to become drowsy, sleepy and/or dizzy. If you experiencing any of these side effects then please do not drive.
Furthermore, Citalopram can have interactions with several drugs. Therefore always discuss this with your treating physician.
Pregnancy and Lactation:

The video provides a detailed comparison of six Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors (SSRIs): Sertraline (Zoloft), Escitalopram (Lexapro), Citalopram (Celexa), Fluoxetine (Prozac), Fluvoxamine (Luvox), and Paroxetine (Paxil). It highlights their pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic properties, including receptor interactions, FDA approvals, off-label uses, and potential side effects. Sertraline primarily blocks serotonin reuptake and is beneficial for atypical depression but may cause diarrhea. Escitalopram is the purest SSRI, causing minimal side effects, but may slightly increase QTc interval. Citalopram has a racemic mixture with antihistaminergic properties and may prolong QTc interval. Fluoxetine is known for its long half-life, suitability for bulimia, and activating properties, while Paxil has antimuscarinic effects, is linked to birth defects and dementia, and has a notorious discontinuation syndrome. Each drug is summarized with its unique characteristics, FDA approvals, and notable side effects, providing a comprehensive understanding of their differences and clinical applications.

In this video, I want to talk about one of the best natural antihistamines that you can get.
You should try this natural remedy if you have symptoms such as:
• Sinus congestion
• Mucus in the lungs
• Hives
• Rashes
• Itching
• Asthma
• Allergies
The best antihistamine is quercetin.
Quercetin Benefits:
• Antioxidant properties
• Anti-inflammatory properties
• Powerful natural antihistamine
There are a lot of different foods high in quercetin, such as:
• Capers
• Radish leaves
• Carob
• Dill
• Cilantro
• Fennel
• Red onion - outer
• Kale
However, if you have sinus congestion, seasonal allergies, or any of the symptoms mentioned above, you may be better off taking a quercetin supplement.
For severe symptoms:
• If it’s in a powder, you may want to take 1 tsp.
• If it’s a tablet, you may want to take 1000 mg 4 times a day.

Welcome back to How To Medicate and welcome to this video on how and when to use clindamycin. I already made several videos on different antibiotics and if you are interested you can find those in the playlist here:
https://www.youtube.com/playli....st?list=PLaG3Bo3L0gX
Generic name: Clindamycin.
Brand names: Dalacin, Cleocin and Clinacin.
Available as: powder for oral suspension, capsules and injections.
How to use it?
Swallow the capsule whole with half a glass of water. Don’t break it or chew on it.
If you are using the suspension, than resolve the powder in half a glass of water and drink it.
Take it after or while eating some food. Also make sure to take it on fixed times. This lowers your chances on missing a dose.
Duration of treatment?
Usually 5 to 14 days, but it can be up to several months.
It is important that you do not interrupt the treatment and finish it completely.
When to use it?
Clindamycine is used for ”serious” infections caused by micro-organisms sensitive to clindamycin.
What is the correct dosage?
Always use the dosage and frequency prescribed by your own doctor.
General guideline for adults using capsules or oral suspensions: 150 mg every 6 hours.
In severe infections this can be increased to max. 600 mg every 8 hours.
Forgotten a dose?
Does it take less than 4 hours till your next dose? Than skip the dose you missed and take the forgotten dose at the end of your treatment.
What are the side-effects?
Very common (more than 10%): nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea.
Common (1-10%): inflammation of the mouth, esophagus or intestines, stomach pain, and a rash.
Safety:
You can combine clindamycin with any type of food and even with alcohol. However it can have some interactions with other drugs. Therefore always ask your prescribing doctor if clindamycine is safe for you to use.
It is also important you don’t use clindamycin if you are hypersensitive to lincomycins.
Pregnancy and Lactation:
It is “probably safe”. However, rarely it can have some negative consequences.
So discuss with your prescribing doctor is it is strictly necessary to use clindamycin and if there are better/safe options.

FDA Approves Generic Plavix Despite Serious Side Effects - NY Attorney Michael Werner explains more at: https://www.yourlawyer.com/def....ective-drug-attorney
Watch as Attorney Michael Werner of Parker Waichman talks about how some generic drugs can cause just as many side effects as their original version.
Every year, many generic versions of popular prescription drugs come onto the market. What many people do not know is that these generic drugs are not coming at with an improved or updated version. The generic drug is simply just cheaper, but can still have many of the same adverse side effects as the original. Take for example the prescription drug Plavix.
This blood thinner is used to prevent strokes and heart attacks but reports show that it is linked to gastrointestinal and cerebral bleeding events. The generic version of Plavix would cause this same harm and you need to know what type of risks you're subjecting your body to. Watch this video now to learn more.
If you have additional questions, I want you to call me at (718) 469-6900. I welcome your call. Visit our website where you can view more videos and media content from our law firm.

Clozapine is the most effective of all antipsychotic medications. And for many people with schizophrenia, clozapine is a game-changing treatment that makes it possible to go back to school, go back to work, live independently, or be in relationships.
It does have side effects (all medicines do), but many of them can be prevented or minimized.
Sedation is one of the most common of clozapine’s side effects, and this lecture talks possible causes and potential treatments for clozapine-associated sedation.
Here, we look at the prevalence of clozapine-associated sedation, discuss pharmacological actions of clozapine that may contribute to sedation, and survey some treatment strategies to reduce or eliminate this side effect.
If you’d like to learn more about clozapine, feel free to register for one of our free online continuing medical education events. The schedule of upcoming events is located at [https://clozapine.info/training/](https://www.youtube.com/redirect?v=HQGlvQKKQXc&redir_token=amza-r0-7tSq2dVsQQjGNF24oz98MTU4NjQzODg4NEAxNTg2MzUyNDg0&event=video_description&q=https%3A%2F%2Fclozapine.info%2Ftraining%2F)
The lecture is part of the SZconsult learning community, which meets every Tuesday at noon, eastern time. It’s a free education + consultation service of Northeast Ohio Medical University. For more information send an email to [email protected]

In this video we will cover everything you need to know about Clozapine, also known as Clozaril. This video is part of a video series on mental health problems. So for more mental health related videos check out this playlist:
https://www.youtube.com/playli....st?list=PLaG3Bo3L0gX
Generic name: Clozapine.
Brand names: Clozaril and Leponex.
Available as a tablet and a drink.
How to use it?
Swallow the tablet completely with half a glass of water.
When using it as a drink: measure the correct amount you need to take with a measuring spoon or measuring cup. And drink it.
Duration of treatment:
The duration of treatment depends on the indication of use and the severity of your symptoms. If your symptoms improve with the use of Clozapine you usually have to keep using it for 12-24 more months. And sometimes multiple years.
When to use it?
Clozapine is part of a group of drugs called antipsychotics. It can be used to treat several mental health conditions:
- Treatment-resistant schizophrenia.
- Treatment-resistant psychosis.
- Psychotic disorders in Parkinson's disease.
- Delirium in Parkinson's or 'Lewy body' dementia.
What is the correct dosage?
Unfortunately I can’t provide you with guidelines for the correct dosages, as these differ a lot depending on the specific indication, the side effects you experience and the severity of your complaints.
Usually your doctor starts with a low dose and quickly builds it up over a few days. Afterwards your maintenance dose will be adapted throughout your treatment based on the blood levels of Clozapine you will be having.
Therefore always use the prescribed dose and frequency your doctor gave you.
What are the side-effects?
Very common (10%): somnolence, dizziness, constipation and a fast heartbeat.
Common (1-10%): changes in your blood values, dry mouth, low blood pressure, high blood pressure, stomach and intestine complaints, weight gain, headache, tremor, stiffness, fatigue, fever and sweating.
Uncommon (0.1-1%): stuttering and falling.
Safety:
You should be careful to combine Clozapine with alcohol. As this might increase the dazing effect of Clozapine.
In addition it is usually safe to drive while using this drug, however it can cause you to become drowsy, sleepy and/or dizzy. If you experiencing any of these side effects then please do not drive.
Furthermore, smoking cigarettes decreases the effectivity of clozapine. Always discuss this with your prescribing doctor.
Lastly, Clozapine can have interactions with several drugs. Therefore always discuss this with your treating physician.
Pregnancy and Lactation:
Clozapine can be dangerous in both cases, therefore always discuss this with your doctor.
